I'd play again

Course was fun. I ad trouble getting out of the tee box but was able to recover fine. Sand was hard, and downhill distance were almost 2 clubs lower than my normal distance because of the roll. Putting wasn't bad, and several good views. I would say it's a mix between oak quarry and Coyote hills.

Best track in the local area!

There are 2 other public courses near by glen ivy, Dos Lagos, and Eagle glenn, and Glen Ivy has been the one to consistently keep me coming back. I live right next to all 3 of these courses and i gotta go with Glen Ivy every time. Course condition is better, Layout is better, and the staff are nicer. would recomend this 10/10 times.

Getting better

This used to be a gem in the IE, 5 years ago. Then it went to a dog track for a few years. Since JC Golf has taken over, the conditions continue to improve weekly! I like playing here and am so glad they are making great strides to get it back to a gem!

Course conditions

This course was the “gem” of the IE, 6 years ago. It then went downhill FAST! 3 years ago, course was UNPLAYABLE! The new Superintendent has worked wonders. The fairways are plush, green and play great. The greens are in excellent shape. So glad that JC Golf took over the operations of this course. Its layout is fun, challenging and has a ton of elevation changes. The course is in great shape and I hope they keep elevating the experience! Keep it going Glen Ivy!

Glen Ivy

First time I played this course. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in great shape except for one green, I think it was #8 which was in really bad shape. I really liked the layout of the course. I think it would be impossible to walk this course if they even allow it, there are several holes that have a very long uphill path between them. The staff were friendly and helpful.

First Time At Glen Ivy

I had a really great afternoon at Glen Ivy the greens are in Grade A condition, the Golf Carts are comfortable, clean and have a very nice course viewing system. The Fairways and tee boxes are remarkably nice as well.

Good variety of holes.

Enjoyed the good variety of holes. There is a long distance between holes which with carts weee not an issue. However, a lighting thunderstorm hit while on back side and it took a long time to get back to clubhouse for safety. Probably a one in a hundred situation. I hope to play the course in the future.
