Glen Ivy Golf Club

It took 5 and half hours to play 18 holes. We had to wait to hit the ball on every shot. Worst place to play. I liked the course layout which is fabulous though.

Booked a 7am tee time drove 45 minutes just to find out there is a frost delay till 8:45am, restaurant not open and they are always "working on the range" so not even able to at least hit a bucket of balls before returning home.

The golf course was in nice shape. Only exception was the green on hole #5. It was soft, wet and looked like it was in need of some major work.

Love this course. Fourth time here. It’s a nice place to hang out. I’d like to live in this community. The only drawback is it’s putting green. For as fabulous as this Club is, the putting is weak. Today we had our first disappointment, we caught up with a FIVESOME on #8. We were a twosome. I thought fivesome’s were a thing of the past. Maybe somehow they pulled a fast one on the starter. At any rate, the group in front of us had NO INTENTION of waving us through. We didn’t want to skip a hole. Some people are either clueless or arrogant. A Marshal on the course would really help .... I think.

The fairways were very inconsistent as far as conditioning, especially on the front 9. Also, paying full price for heavily sanded greens was disappointing, at best. Don't recall playing a course who punched and sanded greens in January.. Like the layout, course can be very fun, but hadn't played it in a few years, and was disappointed, it used to be well above other course on the I-15 corridor out there, and not so much now...

This course has changed so much over the years I'm not all of it for the better. To charge full price and not even mention that the greens still have sand all over them does not result in a good customer experience.

On a Thursday afternoon to only be able to finish 15 holes in 4 hours and 40 minutes is a little hard to take. There was no evidence of anybody trying to keep the pace of play reasonable which makes the round more than a little disappointing.

Overall fun today, good value, challenging layout. Conditions were okay, greens I would say less than okay. Most need work, not consistent, bumpy. Definitely took away a little from the overall experience.

Had a 11:20 am time and finished in the dark. Didn't tee off until 11:50.sunset was 5 pm.

The Greens at this golf course are embarrassing. They need to get someone in here that knows what they are doing.

The course wasn't in bad shape but close to 6 hours to get through. We called in multiple times to pro shop to complain but they did nothing to help. On the second call, they said they didn't have a Marshall so couldn't do anything.about it. The group in front of us took advantage of this by playing from the wrong tees and hitting multiple mulligans whenever they wanted.

The staff seemed more interested in getting as many people on the course as possible.

Won't be back, other courses charge less and respect their patrons.
