Big fairways and Great conditiond
Sierra Lakes conditions rival a private club. They know what their doing. However, I'm having concerns about some fairway starting to dry up like #12.
It making me nervous. Don't end up like the cash takers in Riverside who do very little maintenance and charge rediculous rates.
Keep it green and lush
Love this course
Love this course. One if my players have a deep fear of the Fontana winds, so I don't get to play here often. Greens were awesome and fairways well kept.
Great course!
By far one of the better courses I’ve played. It was really well kept and took a little less than 3 hours to play (2 some at 6:32am)
Wait - until aeration is complete
They aerated a day before we played and it was brutal on the greens. Putting was severely impacted. Course is nice course - just wait until the aeration period is over. I’d say at least two weeks after they plugged the greens and sanded them… We played the day after. Not a good choice. Had to play front nine twice - back nine was closed. I’d say a fair price for this round would have been about $25-$30.
What a beautiful course!
Might be one of my new favorite courses! Conditions of tee box, fairways and greens were pretty darn good. Course is very scenic, at least a lot more than my local Long Beach courses. The course is fairly challenging with hills/slope, narrowing fairways to challenge certain common distances and tall rough to hide your ball well when you miss the fairway. Pace could’ve been a tad faster, but overall I was very impressed. Definitely worth the drive and will be back!
Could be a nice course
Pace of play was terrible. No marshal to keep people moving. 5.5 hours to play. Fairways and greens were nice and rolled well. Maintenance was mowing the fairway within 20’ of us when we were trying to hit. Next tee box had 3 mowers mowing the teebox and wouldn’t stop for us to tee off. Wasn’t at 6 a.m like most places. They were mowing all this at 12. Could be a nice fun course but I won’t be back after the experience today
Consistent Sierra Lakes
Course was good shape overall but I was surprised to see they still use foam in the cups ? Secondly the greens were a little beat up but figure it’ll be better after they punch at end of month
