Sierra Lakes Golf Club

Played Sierra Lakes for the 2nd time this year. Course was in great shape. The greens were smooth and quick. The course very fair. Fairways are wide, but bunkering is strategic placed. Shot shaping and placement are key. The course course is more than your average muni but worth the drive and cost a few times a year.

Greens were mostly in good shape, one of the better local public options. Stu in the fairways and you can score!

I avoid this place most days because of slow play. There is zero regulation on pace. Had a six some In front. Had playing partners leave multiple times because of these types of things. 3 just yesterday. The increase in price over the last serval months has become unreasonable.

I’ve played this course several times. Both during the week and weekend. Unfortunately, every time I’ve played here the pace of play has been awfully slow. You’re almost always waiting behind a group to tee off! So you’re waiting at least 10-15 minutes to be able to tee off. This last most recent time I went on a Monday morning and took me almost 5 hours to finish and waited behind a group at the tee box on every hole. The course itself is fun to play. The tee boxes are well kept, fairways are OK and greens are pretty firm and fast in my opinion. For the price you pay they need to do something about the pace of play to make it a more enjoyable round.

Even on a hot deal , the rate is not commensurate on the allotted time. The start time just wouldn’t allow you to finish your round before it gets dark.

Course played predictably. Greens were in nice shape and fast; comparable to the practice green. Bunker sand is consistent. Beverage service was available before 9 AM and throughout the round. No complaints.

Great day on the course. Houses along the course are properly spaced away from the action. Greens were lightning fast!! Challenging and fun. Would def play again.

Brought 2 friends from out of state to play 3 days of golf. This was course #3. Course was in pretty good conditions, Greens were good and the fairways were great although I didn't spend much time on them. Traps were good and soft, unlike so many that are hardpan.

I drove over 40 miles play at course and it was well worth it! Beautiful and well kept course. Definitely recommend to other golf lovers

I thought the greens fee to be a bit high for this course. Perhaps Sierra Lakes is playing on the fact Goose Creek is closed for maintenance and Sierra Lakes is getting the increased business? That being said, the course did play well. Tee boxes are average, fairways are good, and the greens were above average. I had a 0900 tee time on a Sunday and beverage service was present before noon by the sixth hole which is good because I do not like to beer without golf.

If all remains close to my latest experience I will return to Sierra Lakes.
