Golf courses very nice and challenging. fun at the same time .beautiful views you have to play carefully you are going to lose a lot of balls. And I'd like to mention at the pro shop staff he is very grumpy and not pleased to speak to all the players that i konw said the same. hes like that every time i go there.

Absolutely a beautiful day to be out golfing. Enjoyed the round of golf.

This course just keeps getting better the more times you play it. It has some tricky blind shots so its challenging your first time playing. Staff is very friendly (especially Matt in the pro shop). Ranger does a good job of keeping the pace of play moving. The only complaint I have is we never saw the beverage cart on the back 9. Otherwise great day and highly recommend you try it.

Need to play front to know where to hit it a couple of times. Really enjoyed front. Great layout. Back was what you see.

Challenging layout, fantastic course conditions and breath-taking views make this course a "must play." I recommend playing in the a.m., as wind tends to pick up in the afternoon.

This course is worth playing a few blind shots but in Great shape fairways were good also. A very Fair course front nine is a little target golf but back nine is Great Greens were some of the best hands down in California They water this course so I would like to play again make sure to get a muffin at the turn

Good course and pace of play was great for a Friday AM

Played this course today and it was very challenging and scenic. It was our first time so we played from the burgundy tees, 6010 yards. There are a lot of blind tee shots, false fronts on greens, and the greens rolled true. A lot of the greens are surrounded by mounds which can be utilized to funnel your approach shots toward the holes. If you hit your ball in the "native lands" just drop and keep it moving. I definitely recommend playing this course from the white or burgundy tees if it is your first time.

Played the Blues (6557/70.6/129) in 4H, 15M on a GN "Hot Deal" for $32.49. Played with Mark & Dave in overcast, drizzling conditions in the 70's with little wind.

The tees were Okay with decent coverage. Only a couple of the par 3's needed divot attention. Mixture of many grasses, but mostly level & decent to hit off of.

The fairways were semi lush in good shape overall.

Most of the rough was thinner than the fairways but still playable. Mostly thin and not overly penal, a few spots closer to the fairways were more lush. A few spots well away from the fairway were lost ball rough.

The traps were below average. Several were marked as GUR/free drop. The two sand shots I had the traps were well maintained but could use more sand in them. This was exacerbated by the rainy conditions, making them even more packed.

The poa annua greens held approach shots well and the speed was consistent from green to green. They putted nice even though they have some kind of fungus circles on them. Firm (occasionally soft) & medium speed.

I have gotten to where I enjoy this layout. Numerous good golf holes on this course. Front = Par 37, Back = par 35 with five par 5's and five par 3's. Extra par 5 on the front & extra par 3 on the back. Several of the par 5's are potentially reachable for longer hitters. Most holes have elevation changes and many holes either play straight up or straight down hill. Not a course for beginners, native brush surrounds nearly every fairway and there are numerous forced carries.

The customer service in the Pro Shop was very good, I was quickly matched up and on the tee. No drink cart today. Several holes have nice, decorative and well placed water features that really come into play, and the front 9 in particular has several holes with spectacular views. TR would be a very challenging course to walk due to the elevation changes. GPS on carts to the front, middle & back of the green with yardage markers to fairway traps on some holes. Recommended = Yes, nice course in good shape overall.

Love this course! Can't get any better for your money. Well kept course with a lot of challenging holes. Very fun playing here. Highly recommend!

Very nice course. If you miss the fairway, forget the ball. We found two rattle snake in the bush. just bring extra balls.

The coarse is in good shape. Very challenging. Bring extra balls. Greens are fast and again challenging. I got a great deal with the golf now app.

Word of caution play from the whites until you learn the coarse or you will lose more balls and raise your score.

The customer service from Chris in the Pro Shop was excellent. I was running behind, called to let him know and he had me checked me in, matched up and on the 1st tee within 10 minutes of my arrival. The drink cart came around twice on the front. TR might be the most scenic course I have ever played. The views are stunning with one hole dropping about 400 feet to the fairway and the next hole 800 feet to the left. Roadrunners, birds and even rattlesnake warnings in the rocks and brush.

The course was in good condition with greens rolling true but tough to read and it is a difficult track the first time around with blind shots both off the tee and into the greens, that seem to break "uphill" at times. I did a replay and it was just as scenic the second time but I knew where to hit it and understood the effect of the mountain better on the greens. I will definitely be playing it a again and highly recommend playing it if you are in the area. Just realize your first time around you won't be scoring like usual and enjoy the spectacular scenery.

This is my favorite course! Can't beat the variety of holes. Kind of like where the mountains meet the sea. You get the sea breezes and are in hilly terrain. There are some water hazard holes with running rivers. A little something for for everyone, but they are narrow, so make sure you are shooting straight or bring a lot of extra balls. A few holes are hitting over canyons, so you need your A game too. Wish I could play it more.

Great day. Sunny in the high 60's. Wind not a factor. The greens are in pretty good shape and the fairways, were decent. There were two of us and we finished our round in just over four hours.

The course is in excellent condition with beautiful views. It is a challenging layout so it will take a few rounds to really figure everything out. Definitely worth the effort and I look forward to going back soon.

this is a must play and worth the drive. Great course, great layout and overall one of the bet courses i played when i was in California. Course was is unbelievable shape and the green were perfect.
