About
Angeles National Golf Club is the only Nicklaus Design course in Los Angeles County. It is tucked away in the Angeles National Forest. This championship course is known for being one of the area's most challenging with tough greens that are lightning fast and more than 50 strategically placed bunkers. There are also two lakes and a creek that come into play. Golfers should be prepared for long par 4s and demanding carries over ravines and barrancas. Not only is it a golf course that requires length, you'll also need accuracy. Angeles National Golf Club finishes with a par 4 that plays from an elevated tee alongside the rushing creek that edges the left of the fairway and to the right of the landing area there's a deep bunker. To the right, the green is bordered by deep grass hollows and bunkers and there is a lake to the left.

No Twilight Rate!!!
I use to love this course, but for the price, no way!!! They have no twilight rate. Tee time in the afternoon is the same as in the morning, crazy!!!!!! Pure Greed!!
Amazing!
First time playing this course. I had a blast. The course was in great condition and the layout was fun but highly challenging. Pace of play was terrific (3 1/2 hrs). Beautiful surroundings and just an excellently cared for course. I'm amazed there are no PGA events held here. I'll definitely be back!!

Nice course
But no towels, tees, ice on the carts, staff was less than attentive.

Nice course, but overpriced
The course was in really nice shape. The greens were rolling great and the bunkers were in great shape. Course has a nice layout and some great undulations in the greens.
The negatives were the fact that it costs $150+ and for that price you don’t get a cart girl riding around or a nice set of clubs to rent.

Yikes - A Course Goes Downhill
As a life-long LA resident who played this course in its glory days when it was hard and well maintained and under $100 to play, it's sad to say Angeles National is both SoCal and Jack Nicklaus' Most Disimproved Golf Course. The course was in terrible condition and the cost, and at $170 per person, unreasonable.

Spend some money on maintenance please!
This course has a very good layout and is quite challenging and requires shotmaking, however the course conditions are so poor that there is a little to no grass in most of the fairways, well grass that isn’t dead anyway. Very patchy and hardly anything green in the fairways. The greens are in decent shape however they are a little bit crispy as well. Bunkers definitely could use some upkeep and some have almost no sand in them, and are concrete underneath. The fairway bunker on the 11th hole is literally concrete under about a quarter inch of sand. For $170 this is not a good deal. We got a special and paid $109, but this course is worth about $50 as is. This could be a great course, but it appears the management doesn’t care about the conditions very much.

Course is overall getting back to its green state HOWEVER what they failed to tell yah is they punched some fairways and NO COURSE BEVERAGE CART, NO DRINKING WATER on course, It’s a great layout, most traps are white sand and OK, Sooo it’s worth playing just not worth $$$$….
