The fairways are in great shape, but the greens are still recovering. They’re slow and bumpy. Pace of play was a little slow.

Tee boxes were trash. A lot of black, blue and white were grouped together. Problem was, they were set up in very sandy areas. There was plenty of grass behind but they decided to sand the divots and put the tee markers there.

Along with way to thick roughs, not informing players of recent aerated greens, just makes course look desperate to sell its tee time slots that nobody wants.

Disappointed in the staff response for having a cart that failed on the last hole with brake issues throughout the round. Disappointed to find the greens being sanded even first hole with a worker on the green. So unprofessional like the kid in pro shop who seemed to care less about customer service. The only person who seemed to care was Hailey who tried to understand the unfortunate tee time.

I love this course. We needed course map.

Course was in great shape and we had the whole course to ourselves at the 6:20 tee time. Pace of play was great and no pressure from groups behind.

I think the property itself is amazing and the track was great. However, the course was not in great condition. I felt that the Bermuda rough was way too long, and the carts are worn out. The first cart I retrieved, I had to return, because the brake with not set and all the seats on the carts we’re all ripped. The clubhouse was underwhelming and did not have what I needed. Specifically, I forgot my golf shoes and would have purchased a pair, but there were none in my size and zero displays.

My only complaint would be the length of the grass just off the fairways. It’s so long it’s difficult to find your ball. I would say the carts need replacing, but new ones are already on order. And hopefully one day they’ll have a better apres golf and dining area (ala Temecula Creek). But kudos on the overall improvements already made.

First time playing at cross creek definitely won’t be the last! Beautiful views great course

Best course in the area, in my opinion. Love the challenges!

Cross Creek is an excellent course. Off the beaten path on the West Side of Temecula in a beautiful valley. Got out little early and hooked up with another 2some. Absolutely perfect weather for early September (low 80s). Course could use a bit of maintenance. Rough was very severe, greens were slow, but it I have played it before and I will count this as an anomaly.

Had to call the clubhouse to inform the staff of slow play. The player assistant said sorry, it was the group in front of the one we were playing behind. All could stay is they were not listening to him.

We never saw the group the player assistant was saying the cause of delay. We skipped hole 13 &14, and played 15-18. The PA was not telling the truth, the group he stated was slowing everything down was a full 1 1/2 holes ahead of group we were playing behind. No golf integrity enforced by the PA, he would rather deflect the truth.

This is the best course in Temecula and a great value. Course is in great shape with the exception of the tee boxes. Not sure why it’s so difficult to have nice tee boxes. Heard a rumor they are getting new carts soon and hopefully that happens because the existing carts are terrible
