CrossCreek Golf Club
About
Situated amidst the beauty of the Temecula Valley, CrossCreek Golf Club enjoys a peacefully secluded setting enclosed by groves of mature oak and sycamore trees. Arthur Hills designed the course, using the rolling hills to incorporate tricky blind shots to elevated greens. His design is a true test of target golf. There is plenty of variety throughout the golf course with some holes that are framed by towering treetops and other holes that are wide-open, subjecting them to the prevailing winds. You won't find too many greenside bunkers but there are many fairways bunkers. Be prepared to use every club in your bag on this golf course. One of CrossCreek Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th, which is carved into a rocky hillside. The green is similar to that of the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, featuring a bushy creek protecting the front.

Hole #1 Photo submitted by joeskiluv31 on 12/30/2012
Awesome
Play play play it again, all excellent, 5 stars.... Greens, fairways, and tee boxes were superb.. value is great, keep up the good work fellas out there.. Im a low handicap and shot 3 over. Awesome layout, great conditions, just a wonderful experience... thank you, played for 40/ on sat@ 11.30..
Just a wonderful experience, just wish I was closer to play there more.....5 stars
Excellent greens fun course
Played as a twosome at noon on a Saturday and finished in under four hours. Course was pretty lush in fairways for July in Temecula...and the greens were rolling at 10 plus...true and well conditioned. Course layout is interesting although from blue tees many holes have the same feel of forced carry to slightly uphill fairways.
Excellent
No cons, the value, staff, pace of play, lay out and manicure of fairways and greens were superb. Thank u for the experience again. I shot 3 over due to putts, their are surprising for sure even if your with in 5 ft... ty u again
We were harassed by some ambassador!!
We started at 12:20 and holes were wide open because the earliest time was a group in front of us at 12:00. As we got to the 6th hole we were having a wonderful time. Playing great me 3 pars in a row, friend 5 pars in a row, and two others with us getting pars and bogeys. In other words we were NOT hacking around!! Then some golf Marshall came up to us and said we needed to pick up our pace of play because we had 2 wide holes in front of us. I thought, they should, with group in front not starting until 12:00. I told him that we were playing fast and he gave me this snide look. I will not be back!!! I was shocked in how rude this man was when we were enjoying a day of golf he ruined my round. I could have played somewhere else where people appreciate and respect other golfers.
Blind T Shots
Lots of Blind Tee Shots such as hole 1. Sets you up for an awful start. But the greens were in great shape and large w/ lots of slope.
No cell phone service up in the hills but I do like the privacy.
Take of 2 tracks
Nice little track front 9 plays rather easy bit of a links style when you make the turn the back 9 has a lotta hills 18 tough hole blind shots greens were in great shape lotta fun
Like you are in Tuscany
Awesome. The only complaints are that they over watered some tee boxes, and the GPS systems are not an par with other courses of this quality.
Terrific conditions
Cross Creek is in excellent condition. Greens are immaculate. Fairway turf is in nice shape. Roughs are thick and lush due to the rainy winter.
The 16th hole is a strange one but otherwise the course is challenging yet fair. Holes are nicely separated.
The staff is always helpful.
The only drawback to the course is the weak cell phone transmission - the result of the course’s location remote from cell towers.
Fun/Tough course
Great value for the money. Take advantage of the front 9 because the back 9 holes are much tougher. Beautiful scenery, feels like you are out there by yourself at times.
Hidden Gem, but Challenging
Had heard about the course but had never played it. After the rains it was in immaculate shape. Fairway bunkers required thought when playing through the oak lined holes. Greens may be the most difficult in the county.
A very good total golfing outing for the golfer that likes a bit of a challenge. I'll will certainly add this one to my rotation
Golf and Wine!
Up the hill on windy road of Temecula to Crosscreek Country Club one would expect to have some wine tasting along the way from the surrounding vineyards. The layout of CrossCreek is somewhat challenging, the pace on this day was slow as there was a tournament going on. Tournament players should be a little considerate of other paying golfers beside themselves to keep the pace moving along. At one point there was 4 groups bunched up, waiting. There was no cell service to call the course Marshall to move the groups along. Other than that it was pleasant round all around.
Gorgeous course
The condition of the course is "PRIMO". I've been playing on this course since it opened and this is the best I've experienced. Thoroughly enjoyed the challenge today.
Very challenging!
Upon checking in, I was greeted and informed who I was playing with. The starter and other staff were friendly. I played with another single who had course knowledge that helps. I was given a booklet and informed about how to play certain holes. I played from the blues. Very challenging when you don’t know the course. The greens and fairways were in excellent shape. In order to score, course management is a must. You have to keep the ball in play from tee to greens.
Great day of golf.
Had a friend visiting from Hong Kong, I wanted to give him a unique and beautiful course to play. Cross Creek did not let us down. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Course and greens are in great shape! Thank you.
Nice course on a sloooow Friday
Really liked the course and setting. Course was in great shape. Will try again
