Situated amidst the beauty of the Temecula Valley, CrossCreek Golf Club enjoys a peacefully secluded setting enclosed by groves of mature oak and sycamore trees. Arthur Hills designed the course, using the rolling hills to incorporate tricky blind shots to elevated greens. His design is a true test of target golf. There is plenty of variety throughout the golf course with some holes that are framed by towering treetops and other holes that are wide-open, subjecting them to the prevailing winds. You won't find too many greenside bunkers but there are many fairways bunkers. Be prepared to use every club in your bag on this golf course. One of CrossCreek Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th, which is carved into a rocky hillside. The green is similar to that of the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, featuring a bushy creek protecting the front.

Pay $50, get rained out & get a $20 voucher

I had a friend come into town and wanted him to play your Phenomenal Golf Course. However, After four holes we were rained out and the course closed. We were each given $20 vouchers for our $50 round of golf. How is that supposed to pay for our inconvenience? Please advise. Thank you.

Nice and challenging

I really enjoy the layout and greens here. A few risk reward holes can make or break your round.

Only knock today, is that my group was rushed to the tee 10 minutes early. We didn’t get to finish warming up. Paid for balls that we didn’t get to hit (small bucket).

Tough for me.

I'm not a great golfer so it was pretty challenging for me. It's pretty narrow in a lot of spots so if you hit off the fairway, a lot of times you will end up in the woods and finding your ball is nearly impossible.I donated way more balls than I usually do.The tee boxes could have been in better shape. They seemed pretty tore up and I don't think there is a single level spot on this course.

The greens are very angulated and very fast. Aside from that, it was a fun course and I will go back.

Serenity in Temecula

I drove from Downtown L.A. to play the course on a hot deal.

1. Friendly staff.

2. This course is located in a beautiful Valley in Temecula surrounded by a vineyard.

3. The course is an amazing condition and couldn’t believe I paid less than $100 to play it.

4. There is absolutely no noise and no cell service.

5. If you have a hard time hitting your driver, I suggest you tee off from the white tees and use your go to club to get on the fairway. If you don’t do this, you will not enjoy this course because you will lose many many balls.

6. Enjoy this creation and the serenity of playing it.

Challenging but fair course

Undulating and elevated greens , fairways protected by well placed bunker makes for a challenging but fair course. Target golf at its best placement of shots key to GIR.

No phone or internet service due to remote location.

Interesting Layout

I played here with my almost 90 dad. They had great tee options for both of us. He played from 4700 and I played from 6500. We loved the layout of the front nine with a mix of forest and openness. The back nine was a little disappointing as a few of the holes were very strange. #13 was a 3 wood tee shot and an 8 iron into the green for me and a 8 iron layup and 3 wood into the green for him.

The greens looked slower than they rolled and probably were about a 9 on the stimpmeter. The fairways and rough were pretty good. My only gripe was the very inconsistent traps. A few were good but the others were either very thin or had water in them. I pulled my ball out of the trap on 10 and 18 as the ball was submerged.

I'd play here again as the scenery is pretty breathtaking at times. We only paid $27 on golfnow and it was very reasonable. The staff was fairly accomodating and they offer very basic yardage books, so make sure to grab one if you haven't played there very often.

Peaceful, Scenic, and Tranquil

Southern California mountain backdrop was breathtaking, the staff was very friendly, and greens and fairways were in great shape! It wasn’t an issue for us, but 85% of the course has no cell service so if you can’t disconnect from the outside world it may be an issue for you.... We loved it!

Love it . Should play it more often.

Cross creek has great deals and is a very challenging course for intermediates. I love it. But my buddies live far and don’t want to play it all the time. Once a month oh well

Temeculas best course.

Great course in good condition. Will need to have your game in order or you will lose to many balls.

Staff was very professional. This was a day of golf the way it used to be. To many courses these days don't take care of the golfer or the course. This course is a hidden gem and I recommend it for any real golfer.

Great Layout.... somewhat forgiving

Nestled and tucked away in the splendor of the Temecula canyons is Cross Creeks. Im a beginner and perhaps have taken on more than I can chew however the fact that's it's away from distractions like a freeway or heavy player traffic I seem to do fairly well being able to focus and simply play and enjoy the game of golf. Albeit it's taken more balls than I care to admit the layout and the scenery have you forgetting your trials and tribulations and have you wanting more visits. Hope to see you there and moreover hope to pick your brain on smutty tips you might have.
