Eagle Creek Golf Club
About
Eagle Creek is a British style course, from the bunkers to the chipping areas. It is a new 18-hole 7,198 yard-Par73 championship Orlando golf course and is located minutes from Orlando International Airport, near Lake Nona. Ron Garl and Howard Swan collaborated to design a course that has an old world charm with modern amenities. Eagle Creek is the first course in Florida to use the technologically advanced Mini-Verde grass, resulting in exceptionally fast and vibrant greens. Eagle Creek is a designated Audubon Silver Signature Course with lush landscaping and challenging play that features over 90 white sand bunkers reminiscent of those found in Scotland and England, with extensive bulkheads embracing water hazards and over 1,500 trees lining its breathtaking fairways.

Reasonable course close to the airport
Flew in the Wednesday morning, chose to play this course as close to the airport.
Nice course in decent shape, but no wow factor.
Very house lined holes which is not my cup of tea.
Very windy day so made it very difficult.
Good wide open course worth it for 80 or less
Good course, nice location near the airport so great to get in and out before an evening flight, conditions were good, fun and winding, fairways wide vs. other Orlando courses so you can rip it a bit more w/o getting into trouble.
Great course
Really enjoyed this course. Pace of play was great. I have already recommended it to some friends. Definitely will play again when I’m in town.
Fun course with the right among of challenge
This was our first time playing this course. Overall a very good experience. There is plenty of challenge from any of the tee boxes to meet all levels of player.
Will definitely become a regular for us.
Groundskeepers
Mowing the greens while you’re trying to hit into them. No courtesy whatsoever
Great course
Eagle Creek has a nice layout and is a very enjoyable course to play. There is some water that comes into play. Most holes have generous fairways. The course was in very good condition. The pace of play was a little slow.
Great course
Course is near the airport so ended up playing this course before flying home. Warm up facilities are awesome. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Course layout was really fun. Great value. Had a great experience!
Fantastic Conditions
I’d have rated the conditions a 5 but the flags are in the same position as yesterday, leading to some pretty worn and spiked up areas 5-6 feet around all the cups. Particularly irritating with quick greens and 20-30 mph winds. The 2 days of winds, without recutting cups also had 6 holes just torn up on a side. Not round anymore.
Always a friendly staff
Very Nice Course
I am going to be a little biased here because I had one of my best rounds ever. I always liked EC. It is wide open and no water in play until the last two holes. Course was in really good shape and the greens were smooth and fairly fast. Playing as a single, starter made sure I was paired with an appropriate group which is important to me. Too many courses don't really care and will send you out alone if the tee box is open. It was an enjoyable round. It is always a busy course so, don't expect a 3-hour round. You will take the whole 4 hours plus some.
Always a treat
The course was in very good shape. Greens were moderately fast and well kept.
Absolutely need more rakes for the traps. Many large traps have only one rake. I have NEVER understood why courses have the small rakes. Ridiculous! Correcting this would obviously speed up play and highly increase the chance of players actually raking the traps!
This was probably the sixth time playing here for me and every time play got extremely slow on the back nine. Moderately slow from 10 to ridiculously slow by 15.
There a a ranger on the course, who happened to be very friendly ,it didn’t seem to help much with speed of play on the back nine. Started at 2:12 and ran out of daylight by 17.
Beautiful golf course and a gem when you can get it for a discount. Staff always friendly!
A hot deal worth driving across town for
I booked this with a hot deal, and the GiveThx discount for my round on Thanksgiving before the turkey. If I could play this course regularly for this price I would be there every weekend. The course is in great shape! Greens were fast and had some contour to them, so getting above the hole was risky.
Not many forced carries, and other than one lake you wouldn't have seen off the tee box that the starter mentioned you can pretty much see the trouble and play your way around it. There are some serious bunkers on the course. Bermuda always makes shots out of the rough a challenge. It will test you, but the course rewards good shot making. The final par five is a real three shot hole given the water in front almost forces a layup on the second.
The beverage cart called it quits while we were still on the front nine (understandable on Thanksgiving), but the snack bar at the turn was still available if wanted.
A lot of fun and well worth the 45 minute drive to the east side of town!
