Eagle Creek is a British style course, from the bunkers to the chipping areas. It is a new 18-hole 7,198 yard-Par73 championship Orlando golf course and is located minutes from Orlando International Airport, near Lake Nona. Ron Garl and Howard Swan collaborated to design a course that has an old world charm with modern amenities. Eagle Creek is the first course in Florida to use the technologically advanced Mini-Verde grass, resulting in exceptionally fast and vibrant greens. Eagle Creek is a designated Audubon Silver Signature Course with lush landscaping and challenging play that features over 90 white sand bunkers reminiscent of those found in Scotland and England, with extensive bulkheads embracing water hazards and over 1,500 trees lining its breathtaking fairways.

One of the best courses around

Twice played this week and enjoyed it tremendously. It’s a really good layout and in reasonably good condition. The staff are superb and marshalling when necessary. If you get a deal you’ll love it!

Good conditions, fun to play.

The course is in good shape, fairways are good, greens are ok, sanded and it slows putting, overall in good shape. We had a 4 some and had no problems with pace, fun course.

Nice conditions

Haven’t played here much lately as usually the pace of play is slower than I like but we had a good pace. Greens were in good shape. Would be even better if people would fix their divot or two. Plenty of grass on fairways and tee boxes were good too. Today’s play would bring me back

Great course. First time playing this course, and it will not be my last. This will be one of my go to courses whenever I’m in Orlando visiting.

Disappointing conditions

This was the last of the 5 courses our group played on our Orlando golf vacation and this was the only one where the condition of the course left a lot to be desired. The greens were not smooth and putts did not roll true as the grass was sketchy at best. The tee boxes and fairways were not much better. The course itself was a nice layout and the par 3's in particular were long and challenging. But as compared to the other courses we played in the $150 green fee price range, this course is not a good value. Either the green fee needs to be cut in half or the condition of the golf course needs to improve dramatically.

Had a blast

Great course! Loved the layout. Very scoreable with some good challenging holes. The green were a touch bumpy but I assure that’s only because of the fact that they get so much play. They get a lot of play because of how great the deals are and how good of shape the course is. I like to play new courses as much as possible but I think eagle creek is going to become that go to course when I don’t feel like using much thought. Will definitely return many more times to come!

Rude Marshals!

Played here March 9, 2024 and teed off around 10-1030am…

-Driving range is one of the worst kept I’ve been to, may as well hit out of a sandbox

-If you want to spend $125 to be pestered by a Course Marshal for 4 hours, this is the course for you!

-We were a 4-some and this guy expected us to keep pace with a 2-some in front of us. First encounter, he said we were 9 minutes slow, a hole behind, and needed to pick it up. He didn’t care that the 4-some behind us never had to wait. Second encounter, we had gained some ground but he was still disappointed that we were now 3 minutes behind pace and still weren’t fast enough. Third run in, we all ignored him because we were on the Par-5 16 green with very manageable putts and the 2-some had just walked onto the Par-3 17 green. The 4-some behind us had just teed off on 16. We found his “hurry up and wait” approach to people’s rounds completely unnecessary, and his attitude extremely rude. The kicker, our friends were the 4-some behind us and he blamed our group for them being slow. They said we all knew each other and didn’t have to wait, so no big deal…to which he didn’t care.

-No beverage cart service either until we got to the 10 fairway. There are water jugs on a few holes but all were empty

-Low review for this experience, but the course itself is fun

-Whatever they’re doing to care for the back 9, they need to do to the front 9…it felt like a totally different course with how good of shape the grass was in

-There are comparable and superior courses around Orlando that don’t have Marshals harassing your round. I’d only play here again if it was some sort of $100 tournament that included a lunch and raffle

Eagle Creek

Course was firm and greens were not very receptive to approach shots. Course conditions were pretty good otherwise. Pace of play was very poor due to a group of six playing together and the course rangers being nonexistent.

Concerned Golfer

Marshall was told about slow pace of play after 9 holes as we played 2 1/2 hours. He said on two occasions they spoke to the groups in front. Took us 5 hours to play. Course needs to address pace of play!!

Fun course

Fairly open course with greens in great shape. Speed on greens was above average but not crazy fast. Pace of play was very good for a 9:20am tee time. GPS on carts would be a nice upgrade.

If you like nature while at the course, there is plenty to see with cranes, alligators and pelicans around the course.

Always a Great Experience

Amazing club, great people, beautiful pro shop and facility. Course is in good condition, always a pleasure to play. Some greens need some spot treatment, but roll true. While I do feel there is more bang for buck at some other venues, I cant fault the course, they do things really well here.
