La Cantera Golf Club

We found the course challenging, as it being a previous PGA tour site. Some holes you need to be cautious about laying up and some have a elevated tee where it is bombs away! The views are spectacular and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Being a municipal course frequenter, it was nice having car side bag service, so bring extra cash for tips. Definitely recommend

This course is a challenge. It offers views of the city and of the texas hill country. The staff is always very accommodating and friendly.

This is a great course, I always love both coarses at La Cantera but usually feel a little better about my swing after playing the resort course. And you have to love hitting into a canyon next to roller coasters.

This course is a fantastic place to play. The staff is the best around. From the second we pulled in to the time they brought us our truck, it was all about us. I've played several courses in and around San Antonio and this was by far the best so far! The course it self was just amazing!! Breath taking views and amazing greens just set the tone for a great day. I work at a golf course and I tried to find defects but came up empty handed. This is a course I can't wait to play again. The course isn't so challenging that an average player couldn't handle it. There are some deceiving greens that will certinly make you be on your "A" game though! I will defintly recomend this course to every golfer I know!

One of the better courses I have played in the area. Good design with some interesting holes and nice views of downtown San Antonio in the distance.

I have been looking forward to playing this course for years. Toughest greens I've ever tied to read . Loved the fairways. Would not pay walk-on prices to play again.

Always enjoy this course. Staffs are friendly and course is in great condition. The views from this course is uniquely beautiful. This is my home course away from home.

I played this course while vacationing in San Antonio. The course had a few very fun short par 4 holes, including one with an elevated tee hitting toward the roller coasters of the neighboring Six Flags. Conditions were great - being mid summer, the course played firm with a lot of roll. The course was set up to be relatively easy and golfer-friendly - I would have preferred a few more challenging holes. Overall, a nice resort course that I was able to play at a reasonable rate.

I would recommend this course to eveyone I know that wants to play avery well cared for course. The course has great fairways as well as prestine greens. Very good pace of play as well.

The course was in excellent shape. The greens were very fast but fair.
