Incredible Course

Course is ridiculously well maintained. We played an early tee time (7a) and pace was great, course was perfect. Our group kept saying how this was worth every penny. Some challenging holes, some gorgeous holes (16 is amazing). Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Restaurant closes too early

Loved the course. Would recommend to anyone. Fair layout with fantastic views!!

The restaurant closed at 5:00. With a late tee time there was no way to enjoy a nice dinner after the round. We were very disappointed to have to go in town to eat.

Nice course

Good condition . Green a little slow and fairway had brown spots too ( no grass). But overall it is a beautiful course. I highly recommended it.

Disappointed

I've played many Pete Dye courses around the world and this was typical in terms of elevated greens, generous fairways and multiple tee boxes. Disappointed in the pace of play with really impacted the value perception. The front nine was nothing special and the back nine had some of the spectacular views in the photo galleries online.

Spectacular layout and course conditions.

Biggest problem was that I expected the course to be located at PGA west, but it is actually at the La Quinta resort.

Took 20 minutes to find it, and it poorly signed!

Course is splendid and in superb shape.

Would have loved a course map!

A little pricey.

In all very enjoyable.

Pace of play terrible

Pace of play was terrible. We waited for 15 minutes on every hole. Marshal came by and said there was nothing he could do about the delay.

The Best in America

I have been blessed to play 7 of the top 10 public play courses in the country and this is my favorite. I think it is in the 80’s this year on the charts but for me it’s the best. This is one of Dye’s first in Coachella Valley and the best. I have played including Dunes, Stadium, Citrus and Rancho Mirage.. I highly recommend for mid to high handicappers play it from 5,400 yards (I am a 16) and you will be challenged and have a boat load of fun. Oh by the way the scenery is off the charts.
