Beautiful scenery nice course
Many beautiful holes on back nine especially 16. Front is a bit blah. But overall a fun course

Pace of play terrible
Pace of play was terrible. We waited for 15 minutes on every hole. Marshal came by and said there was nothing he could do about the delay.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Always fun and in great shape. Not one of Pete Dye’s best. Played esrly at a good price and good pave of play.

The Best in America
I have been blessed to play 7 of the top 10 public play courses in the country and this is my favorite. I think it is in the 80’s this year on the charts but for me it’s the best. This is one of Dye’s first in Coachella Valley and the best. I have played including Dunes, Stadium, Citrus and Rancho Mirage.. I highly recommend for mid to high handicappers play it from 5,400 yards (I am a 16) and you will be challenged and have a boat load of fun. Oh by the way the scenery is off the charts.

Had a great time. Great course. We teed off at 1:39 and only finished 17 holes before dark. Book earlier closer to 1pm

Slow play
Not worth playing if they aren't going to marshall the course. We quit after 11 holes taking 3 plus hours. It would have been a 5 plus hour round. Unacceptable pace of play

PGA Dye course
Were used to courses being in much better shape during peak season in Palm Desert. The greens had a lot of marks on them, the areas around the fairway were not pretty and the driving range is below average. The back 9 was much nicer than the front. The service was excellent and the people friendly.

Challenging Terrain
Course in great shape. The up and down terrain seemed to warrant up one club on shots to the green. Loved that no 2 holes are the same. Will definitely play again. Knowing the course is a stroke saver.

Great views
Love the area and views driving in , staff was awesome Checking in . Driving. Range was bad grass wasn’t cut on tees and over booked had to wait to use range before our round , was late to tee off not sure why we were waiting on tee blocks . From nine not in great shape mainly fairways .

Nice staff in the shop .Starter friendly.
But we got out 20 minutes late
First 9 on time 2 hours but second nine long waits took us 3 hours . Reason ?? May be because somebody walked the course? Played it for the 4 th time but never had this experience.
