Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course

Course was in great shape. I liked the lay-out too. Greens rolled well (although they did have their share of divots). Fairways were lush and rough was fair.

Great experience. Started with shuttle service from the parking lot. Range balls included in price. Carts have GPS. Course is recovering well from overseeding. Another week or two and greens will be amazing. Still good now but a bit slow. Good value for $100.

Course was in fair condition from the overseeding. Carts were 90 degrees. Greens were slow and shaggy. Unfortunately with resort and public players, ball marks on the greens were abundant and traps poorly raked, if at all. Course should be in much better shape in the upcoming weeks but not sure about less ball marks and poorly raked traps.

Course was in fantastic shape. Pace was under 4 hours. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Would recommend this course as it has improved 100% from last April when we played it last!

I enjoyed the round however the greens were so slow it definitely effected my enjoyment of the round. Everyone in the group had the same observation. It eventually became a joking point that we actually hit a putt past the hole. I would like to play it again when the greens were closer to normal speed.

This might be the most playable Pete Dye design I've played. It's fun with just enough water thrown in to keep things interesting. A pair of good short par 4s was a highlight for me.

The course was fun to play and was in pretty good condition. Greens were slow, but that is the time of the year.
