Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course

What a great course, really had a great time, holes were challenging but very fair and very well laid out. Just had an awesome time from the shuttle to the driving range. They even laughed at when I told them what I had for Breakfast.

Challenging course with accuracy on your approach required to score well. Lots of sand around the greens but bunkers well maintained and manicured.

Pace was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Only downside is trying to find the Snack Shack at the turn.

The Winter crowds are gone and locals like me can enjoy the great golf courses nearby.

Of course the Westin brand will say a lot so my neighbor and I had a good day. I just wish we played better. Getting older is no fun but everyone can still appreciate the quality of the people and this golf course.

After bunker renovations completed, and fairway conditions improving, Course got better each week from early March to mid April. Love the layout but tuff greens on the back nine. Well worth playing.

Well organized on arrival. Bag drop personel took our gear, gave us a ride from our car to the staging area. Cart signed with our tee time. Perfect.

There is no GPS and some holes will fool you. Bring your OWN GPS. And the traps will test you.

Course was in okay shape. Greens were looking rough with different types of grass growing. Fairways very hard.

Biggest issue temps 95 and no water available on course. Smaller courses that we played had water stations.

Asked about this and was told there might be some open but most have been pulled. Was told they are going back to bottles.

Entirely too windy to justify a fair evaluation, but the fairways could be improved upon. Avoid course on windy, desert days.

Immaculate conditions. Plays well for high and low handicaps, Best bunker sand yet, as I hit into a few of them. My only issue was the hard greens, but they rolled true. Kudos to the cart girl who we saw 4 times. Great service and communication from all staff.

I’ve played here numerous times and unfortunately the course condition has gone down hill. Fairways very spotty and too much sand in fairway bunkers. (I know, shouldn’t be there in first place.) Greens rolled pretty well but seriously fast.

You really have to like Pete Dye courses to play here.
