Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course

The course was in great shape tee to green. Fairways were great, greens perfect and very consistent. Traps in good condition. Nice layout, nothing to exciting or punishing. A very good test of golf for a mid handicapper. Overall all was beautiful. I'd play it again for certain. The staff was helpful and attentive. It was a very enjoyable day.

We’ve played here many times. Great course, a bit less lush than before, and no marshals, so a painfully slow back 9. Brought a group, had to apologize after.

I played here twice in the last week. 1st time was a 5 hr+ round and the second time was a little over 4 hrs. I really enjoyed this course overall- fast/true greens, plethora of hazards (sand, water, swales), good value with GolfNow deals. I also liked that the fairways were cupped so that errant shots can filter back into play. If the first round wasn't so slow, I would've given this course 5 stars.

Good course but pace of play is awful. We quit after 14 holes or it would have been a 6 hour round. Never saw a Marchal all day. Poor management.

Myself and 3 guests loved this course and the entire staff, putting greens and practice tees. The course was challenging and excellently maintained and gave it five stars. I would definitely come back again play the course again!

Love the beautiful layout of the golf course with incredible fairways and greens. Staff was very friendly and we also love the fact they had a beer cart going around the golf course as well.

Overall I enjoyed the day at the course.

There are a few things that could be improved.

The pace of play was slow and we got also started late. No Marshalls to be seen.

The concession worker on the course had to write down every transaction. How outdated is that? And not very safe for our credit card information to be handled this way. The staff person who took us back to the parking lot literally stood there with his hand out waiting for a tip and he didn’t even handle my bags. I expected more from a Westin property.

Seemed very unorganized at starter. No balls at the range.

The course was in excellent condition. Played 18 holes in 4 hours 15 minutes. There are a few challenging water hazards but they can be avoided with carefully played shots.

With the exception of a few patchy areas in the fringe areas, the course was in good shape and the pace of play was good.

I am happy with this course in general. The failure is the signage, especially the holes and the snack bar near the clubhouse. Terrible. I got lost, ran late at the turn. No one needs this unecessary aggravation, golf is aggravating enough as it is!
