About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

Play somewhere else.
This course is no longer worth your time or money. I paid for 2 golfers to play 9. The cost is overpriced for the course conditions, amenities, and overall experience.
When I loaded up our clubs on the cart, a shirtless patron drove by me and no one batted an eye.
We played 9 in the afternoon. We were there 30 minutes before teeing off, no one teed off in that time. Once we reached hole two, another twosome just hopped on the course ahead of us. By hole 8, two additional groups did the same thing. We didn’t play 9 as either neighborhood golfers we’re getting their free afternoon holes in, or paying players decided they play a couple more holes.
I played this course almost daily 10 years ago. It wasn’t pristine or anything back then, but it was still enjoyable. Not anymore.

Awful
Fairways in awful shape, sand and dirt within 50 yards of every green instead of grass. Terrible conditions for what the price is.

A fair test
Pace of play a little slow and no Marshalls to move things along. Not in best condition but it was always a nice course to play.

Poor conditions
Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in poor condition! There are far better courses for less money here in Florida.
The course could use a ranger, as a foursome cut in front of the group ahead of us on the 10th tee—they were very slow, clearly they had no idea about golf etiquette or “ready golf”.

Greens rolled well, pace of play was great. The fairways were a little burnt up but not a deal breaker. I would come back here.

Great day
Staff was very friendly pairef me up with a good group which mafe for a fun afternoon. The green were true amd fast and showed much improvement over my last visit. Some tees and fairwways were a little worn but overall a good value. I judge a course by the greens and these were very nice.

Nice course
One of my favorite courses. Greens were pretty good. Traps in good shape. Fairways and tee boxes were looking a bit ragged. Otherwise. Nice neighborhood course.

One of my favorite spots in Central Florida
Well manicured greens. Long fairways. Just the right amount of hazards. Not a bad way to spend a Thursday

Confused on setting up tee times
So I've looked at this course and have played this course multiple times. Why can I not book a tee time as a single before 930am? You can only register for two players and no one takes any of the tee times?
The course is in ok shape, fairways are fine greens need some work but it's a complete turnoff to anyone that wants to play this course when I am looking for an early tee time and I can't register as a single.
Beautiful fairways
The course was in fantastic shape the day I played. The fairways were well maintained and the greens were in a word, perfect. My only issue with the course, and this isn't just exclusive to Wekiva, there are so many golfers taking advantage of the Florida fall/winter weather that it's difficult to get the tee times you want. But, that's a good problem to have. I was a solo player stuck between a four-some ahead of me and a two-some behind me. The four-some were mostly playing from OB and were all over the place, and taking 3 and 4 tee shots per hole. It was slightly annoying that they didn't wave me through but it was such a nice day that I let it go.

A good course
The course conditions were spotty in some areas but overall it was very playable . The pace of play was great considering it was a busy holiday weekend. I would play here again at a good rate.
