A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,801 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.

Has been in better shape
Depending on traffic this course is nearly an hour away from me and with the price of gas it’s a little bit much to play …..the fairways are pretty rough in places the greens have the little fluffy weed that Ventura has but not as bad as Ventura but there were times when I moved my ball so I didn’t have to put over the weeds because it’s just you can’t figure the speed or the or angle of the putt…played around in 3 1/2 hours which is better than most lately…. the cart I had had no locking brakes and the steering was kind of loose ….I would say try it you might have a better cart than I had
Where are the improvements ?
I was on the Golf committee for Wekiva HOA and met with county officials and was told of various improvements. Didn’t see any improvements. Bare dirt in fairways, around the greens and tee boxes are mostly sand. Cart paths are the same mess as a year ago. Weeds in the greens, weeds everywhere and.very little grass in fairways! I live just off golf course but will not be back until improvements are made.

Course has gone downhill
Before Covid this course was in a lot better shape and was less expensive to play. Now the fairways are mostly in bad shape with weeds everywhere and dirt patches all over. The 11th green is in especially bad shape with a massive dirt pit as part of the green. Play was slow with fivesomes on the course. The staff is awesome and the snack bar is great.

Lotsa sand traps well kept, fairways a little dry.
An older course built in a neighborhood. It seems that you cross roads at least 10 times while golfing 18 holes.

Poor
Staff was unfriendly, apparently there was a tournament that morning and there was trash from it all over the course, after playing 8 holes starting on the back we came upon a group that had 8 carts, 4 playing and 4 spectating, and the spectators were sitting back 100-200 yards back preventing us from being able to play or try and play through. After speaking with the group after the round they stated they were members and had a very important match play event. At the end of the day those members are what held up other paying customers the ability to finish their round.

Absolute disgrace.
By far the worst maintained course in central Florida. Not maintained at all. Tee boxes horrible. Fairways some of the worst that I’ve ever seen. Seminole county is the new owner of the course and I’m ashamed to be a citizen. Greens are abysmal. They should not charge to play this course. Shameful. A true golfing disgrace. Avoid at all costs.

The course was fair based on the cost
Tee boxes were good!
Fairways need some TLC! Back 9 drained better than the front 9.
Greens were slow after heavy rain!
Some fairways were tight off the tee box!
As a 20 handicap, I think the course was good for my skill level!

Solid outing
Overall a great course and experience. Pace of play on front 9 was great. Back nine saw some congestion. Greens & fairways were in decent shape for the time of year.

Cow Pasture
If you like to play golf on grrass do not play here. Fairways of sand and rolled earth. We tried to play preferred lies but there was no place to move your ball to get any type of lie. At $50 this is a rip off. To be honest I would not play there again if it were free. You have been warned.
