About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

Poor course
Not very friendly staff, course was in terrible condition.

Go somewhere else
Course is in rough shape, I’ve seen it in much better condition. However the worst part of anyone’s experience here will be the price. This is a $15 for 18 hole course at best and they gouge it for $45-60. Save your money and take an extra bit of a drive and play anywhere else for that price. So many better courses in the central Florida area for $30-40 cheaper. Don’t waste your time here.

This place should be closed down and given back to the cows. They would have a feast eating all the weeds in this place.

Did you say TOUGH shape? Amen brother. Your two stars is generous. Mgmt here is el stinko! Worst course in Fl. Katie bar the door - cannot believe this place is still open.
Played there for years
I have grown up playing this course and I have had a lot of fond memories there. Unfortunately, last time I had played there it seemed like the conditions of the course are going downhill. I understand that we have not had much rain but isn't that are what sprinkler systems are for? Also a lot of sand patches in the fairways and greens.
But the worst part of it all is the course allowing 5 some's?! I don't think this course knows golf etiquette anymore as this is the only course I know of that allows this in the area and I play a lot of courses. Very troubling to see such a great course over the years go horribly bad.

Stay away
Terrible shape and they are asking 60 bucks to play this dumpster fire of a course tee boxes bad fairways worse most of the greens are 80% good with bad areas on each , I won’t be back , save your time and money , drop a ball in a pasture somewhere and it will be the same as playing here and way cheaper
Hear, Hear. Management at this course is the worst - and has been for years. They have been working on improving forever - without actually doing anything. It is terrible.

No offense, but you should get your eyes checked. This place is Pure awful. the conditions are so bad, i wouldnt let a cow eat grass there.

Not very good kept
The cause is lacking of water a lot a bald spot crap crash every where golf cart pad not fixed broken concrete not in good shape
This review is right on and makes alot of sense although the course and management are, at best, only one star. As for the Rocky Cobbler comment, seemingly a know it all, perhaps he would be better sticking to cobblin' shoes than offering criticisms of others. Eh?

Course in great shape Slow play
Good course. Slow play because of members playing daily game putting out 5!-fivesomes Slow play and don’t take a tee time after them I would play there again but not at that time or behind the members game

Good Round
Good round, greens are in great shape. Most of the tee boxes were a little chewed up but overall a good golf course for the money. The pace of play was excellent but we were out early so not too many chances to get slowed down. The group behind us were idiots, they hit into us 3 or 4 times, almost hitting the cart once. We had to wait just about every shot for the group in front of us to clear and they likely did also. Our round was done in 3:45, so not like we were slow playing But they were way too impatient, couldn't wait for us to put our clubs up and drive away from the green before they hit. Not the courses fault, but a marshal roaming to keep people in line may be beneficial.

Great layout, terrible greens, unfriendly staff
Layout has got potential to be great, there’s always going holes. However very easy to get lost, and condition of the greens were abysmal. I felt embarrassed that I payed over $60 to play on greens that were in such bad shape they had sand traps on them. Patches of grass had just been laid and caused awkward moments.
Bar/restaurant staff was rude, unfriendly, and uninterested in their job.
This course could be good, but right now for over $60 it’s not worth the money or your time. The layout is fantastic, but if you’re the type of person who doesn’t like sand traps on the green, I’d come back at a later date.
