About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

Great Layout
Lots of challenges. Not a lot of water but plenty of sand traps especially on the back nine. Pretty good condition for this time of year.
Wekiva Golf Club conditions
I played this course today and was extremely disappointed. I play many of the courses in the area and this has to be worst conditions of any course in the area. The practice area has no grass to hit off of. The tees boxes are dirt with many sand bunkers being washed out. Little to no grass in fairways and many of the greens are un-puttable. It would be too kind to call this a goat farm but I don't want to disparage the goats. In my opinion, anyone that pays any price to play this course will be disappointed.

Great course layout
Wekiva has very long Par 4 and Par 5s with narrow fairways. A very competitive course that will challenge your game on every level. That’s what I enjoy about this course.

To much hard ground with no grass especially around some greens . Some greens had terrible spots in them and they aren't rolled.

Disappointed
Have been playing Wekiva for years, I understand times are tuff right now but that said this is the worst shape I have ever seen here. From tee to green bad .

Rough
The tees & greens were rough at best.fairways were so-so. Course all needs some TLC.

Course and range not maintained
Worst condition I have seen this course in. Teen boxes horrible. Fairways not maintained. Greens horrible. Driving range is an absolute joke. All sand. Not worth playing at any price. On top of that they charge way to much for play. Too many courses close by to play this nightmare again for a while.

Might be the worst conditioned course in central florida! Pace of play on this dump was terrible too!

Good Value
A good track and value compared to higher priced courses. Greens were firm and rolled true. Although several greens were crusty and needed some new growth. T boxes are in moderate condition at best. Fairways are decent, but not lush right now - it is "winter" afterall.
There was a tournament this morning - taking all the carts causing our time to be about 30 minutes backed up. Hit some balls at the range (It needs grass) and the nice chipping/practice green. All in all, a good value and play for what I think is an under rated track.

Course is in bad condition
Tee boxes are mostly dirt
Fairways are really hard and bumpy
The greens were ok just really hard.
Overall I won't be back to play for a very long time. Too many other courses that's the same rate or less. If you have any other options to play a different course then choose something different!

Good course have to improve maintenance
Greens and tees were in bad shapespecially in par three holes . It is a very mature and nice course but need better maintenance in those areas

If you can play for $20....maybe
Grass on tees was almost non existent. Greens were painted or mud. Fairways were okay, but really only because they cut them and the rough short. If you can play for less than $30, go try it out. Otherwise don’t bother

5 hour plus rounds
The problem with this neighborhood course is they need a starter and a ranger. The pace of play is ridiculous. We love to support our local golf course but each time we play and make the turn there is a new group on the tee. Play gets back up. Totally sucks. Will be a long time until we book again.

Good value
Driving range was sandy, but I prefer hitting on the ground versus mats. Course was fun. Enjoyed the people.

The price isn't right
I liked the layout and the staff seemed friendly. However, the course was in $25 shape, not $45. Tee boxes were in bad shape, the greens seemed to have something growing on them that was not grass. The fairways were not too bad honestly. I would not go back unless the price was lower or the course was in significantly better shape.
