Wekiva Golf Club

Course in good shape. Nice greens. As with most of Florida, golf after noon this time of the year is a solo round. Between the humidity and the threat of a downpour, we saw no other player. It was great!

We'd not played Wekiva since early spring. We're glad we did. The course was in great shape.

As much as the golf, we equally enjoy post round lunch and beers. Food and service were great. Beers were cold. Burgers and wings were cooked perfectly (medium and well-done). However, the pot roast daily lunch special was the big hit - served with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies.

We'll be back.

I was in town on business and had the chance to get a morning round in. The course was bustling on a Monday which isn't typical where I am from, but it was a delight to see. It was also easy to see why the course was bustling. The pro shop attendant was friendly and had me out on the course with no issues. The course was in great shape with a fun/challenging layout. The greens were above average speed and had barely any bad spots. The bunkers were soft and playable, and the fairways showed a decent amount of roll. The only bad spot for the course was that the tee boxes were a bit scuffed up. Other than that, the course was in great shape and a pleasure to play on a Monday morning.

Some of the nicest greens I've played this season! Fast and true even first thing in the AM. Back nine can be tight if your driver is not under control.

Enjoyed the course on a Saturday afternoon...fewer thin lies at this course than most in Central Florida....come enjoy the lush fairways and smooth well paced greens

Greens recently punched but coming along nicely. Traps need sand. Tee boxes in rough condition. Nice inner city tract when greens come in. Played 18 in 2.5 hours.

Have lived in the Orlando area off and on for the last 18 years and always wanted to try out this course and got the chance last weekend (April 24, 2016). Fairways were in excellent shape, greens look like they'd been aerated recently so putting wasn't "fast" but manageable...tee boxes are in rough shape but it didn't bother me. Par 4's in my opinion are wide open...if you make the fairway off your drive, you've got a chance to make the green in 2 strokes. Green bunkers are smaller at this course compared to other courses I've played lately (Debary Country Club or Deltona come to mind) so if you're short game is sufficient, you'll stay out the bunkers. Water doesn't come into play until the 17th hole, a par 3. Had an enjoyable time and just booked another tee time for this coming weekend.

Greens were in great shape. Fairways and tee boxes a bit rough. Friendly staff.

The course was in very bad shape. The fairway was not maintained properly. There were 6 different kinds of grass and weeds all growing in the same are. The fairway was hard to distinguish from the rough. The green had a lot of fire ant and were burrowing themselves creating sand hills. I will never play there again.

2 years ago when I played Wekiva last time the course was in a better shape. This time weeds and divots have been everywhere. Tee boxes and fairways are really bad, greens bumpy, and the cart path needs new concrete.

Nevertheless the layout is nice, and the staff very friendly.

Will try Wekiva again when I am in the area next time.

Tee boxes mostly dirt, little to no grass. Fairways not much better, Greens in relatively good shape. Average at best. Will be interesting to see what the course looks like in 4-6 months? Appear to be at crossroad to make investment in course condition or allow it to deteriorate further.

Cool little course with a nice bit of scenery. Its an older florida course, but it was quite nice.

I have played Wekiva often and the course is OK for less money 18- 27 max. NO WAY PLAYING AGAIN FOR 45 USD

Liked the layout. Had great pace of play for a weekend day. And the course was in better shape than I expected. I will play there again.

I've played this course about 3 times in the last 5-7 years when visiting my son & his family in the Orlando area. Wanted to play with my wife, at a reasonable cost, so we tried it again. I was very impressed with the improvements to the course over the last several times I played it. They're working on renovating the clubhouse, bar & grill and the Pro Shop. Course conditions were much improved from the last time I played it. Tees good, fairways good, some in excellent condition, greens (though cosmetically didn't look great) rolled beautifully and fast. Rough was a little scruffy in spots - but hey, it's rough. Great round on a beautiful day. Only drawback was extremely slow play from #9 thru the end of the round. Took nearly 3 hours to play the back nine. But for value - a good course to play in the northern Orlando area for a good price - I would definitely come back. I'm a private club member from Pennsylvania, and can appreciate the improvements they're making to the course. Good job!

One of the first tee times in the morning. Had a nice gap between us and the group ahead of us. By the 9th hole we were waiting because people were just jumping out and playing. No care that they were screwing up pace of play. This is a locals course and they can have it.

I played this course for this first time on March 11th 2016. I got there and I was a mess. Apparently they had a 96 person tournament that morning and I waited over an hour just to get a cart. No one knew who was going out and when. I find this to be very inconsiderate of the golf course. If they're going to have a tournament then have the tournament, but don't let anyone else book. They aren't capable of handling the two things.

This is a locals golf course. It was nice to see everyone having fun and enjoying themselves because the weather was great. There are a lot of oak trees on the course, the fairways and greens are a little dry which is surprising with all the rain we have had, still a great course in a great location. We had fun playing and paired up with an awesome twosome. Not sure I would drive that far next time, but I am glad to have experienced the course. The 19th hole is awesome, the practice putting green is awesome, and it was a good day.

Greens and traps very good. Rest of course in poor condition. Meanders thru homes ... not my cup of tea.
