Wekiva Golf Club
About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

What's the price?
The course was fine with good green conditions.
My issue is with the price. Called the day before and asked their price at 1pm. Was told the price on golf now is always better. Ok so I booked it thru golf now at $33 which after fees, taxes and whatever else they load on was $37.90. At the course the guy at the register took my money and did NOT tell me their rate at that time is $33+tax for a savings.
Tough. Could be more fun for seniors.
I like everything about this course except its length for seniors. 6100+ yards with elevated greens takes away some of the fun I got back when I moved up to senior tees a couple of years ago. By just changing the scorecard to a checkerboard where seniors would go back-and-forth between red and green teas could get it to about 5800 yards for short hitting seniors which would be just right.
Good course
Good course for all level of golfers. The greens are usually in great shape. Plus, even though build in a subdivision, most holes are shielded from disruption.
$25.00 for a good course nearby.
Course in very good condition for this time of year.
Greens rolling well.
Fivesomes Bliss
If you like playing behind a fivesome, this is the place for you. In the clubhouse later, a "member" said we play fivesomes all the time. There is no golf etiquette or courtesy at this course. Players beware.
Great Greens...
I played this course over 2 years ago after they rebuilt the greens. It didn't come back very well but after playing the other day...it's one of my new favorites. The back nine is really different from the front. Ball placement is key on the well manicured greens. Play from the appropriate tees and you will have a challenging yet fun day!
Good location
People running the front desk should be taught to be more friendly, accommodating , and should give the customer the impression that they are happy to have them play the course. Maybe just a smile would be enough for me or a "thanks for playing our course."
Nice course
A very enjoyable round. There were enough challenges without making it too difficult for the beginning and intermediate golfers.
Hacker Friendly, but a Bit Long
Friendly staff. Encouraged to tee off early. Paired with another single making it a nice day.
Course is in decent condition. Rough has some sparse areas grass wise though. Recently had sand applied to Greens, but it did not appear to have much affect on Speed or Direction of putts. Maybe I am just not a great putter. LOL
Some holes are Long for a short hitter like me. Total distance is 6133 yards from the most forward Men's tees.
Watch out for the tree in the Left side of #15 Fairway which will block your approach shot unless you stay Right with your 2nd shot.
Great deal! How does no one know about this?
We played early on a Sunday, which should be busy, right? Nope. Felt like the only twosome out there all morning. Greens were in incredible condition, and the fairways were just as good.
I wish there were more water fountains or coolers on the course, but it's a minor gripe on an otherwise incredible value.
Not sure...
Staff was friendly, pace of play was fast. Really few players were playing so our group played in less than 3.5 hours. Greens were fast and in good shape, but the course from tees, fairways, rough was in pretty poor shape. Nice layout, but not worth it for the price too many nicer courses in overall better shape for the same money.
Cheap course
Bad shape fairways, many wet areas, cars path are a nickmare. Easy to get loss within the golf course and people coming from everywhere to play in front of you. The only good things are the greens and beatiful views, the 17th hole is amazing.
30!? Yeah right.
$30!?!?! Haha that's the biggest joke on here. You can easily go play a much much much!!! Nicer course for the same price (metro west, eagle creek, egale dunes, royal St. Cloud, grand pines, and many more). Wekiva is not a course to play, the value to cost ration is not exceptable. They got new greens a few years ago, and that is just about the only thing that is "ok" there. Tee boxes are usually always chewed and always unven. The fairways or lack there of, are so bad you need to roll your ball almost every shot. They have close to no maintenance crew and it shows. Please please please take if from someone that has golfed almost every course around the area. Wecrapa is not the course for you. Look at many other course on here that you can play for the same price or even cheaper than here, with night and day condition differences.
overall review
Greens are in great shape. Fun to putt. Some fairways have bare spots but not enough to not play this course. Practice facilities were very nice. The holes slight doglegs that make for a fun round. Short hitters will enjoy the forward tee boxes. I will play this course often.
needs work
The greens were sanded and the ball did not roll true plus picked up sand. Had to wipe ball after every putt. The tee boxes were not good, a lot of the fairways were bare and weeds were there and the rough was not cut. Lost 2 ball that we saw land no more then one foof off the fairway.
Nice Greens, Average fairway, Slow play
For the deal we got it was worth the money. we had a good time and the greens were really nice, the fairways had some weeds and the rough was mostly weeds, but played fine. It was too hot to be in a rush and it was a good thing we weren't rushing, close to 5hrs play time. Restaurant was nice as well as the staff. Overall a fun day
Cow pasture with great greens.
Stray slightly of the fairway and good luck finding your ball.
Fairways filled with mowed weeds.
Right of the start we were upset because the starter allowed the men's league to take our tee time.
They allowed 5somes a 6somes!
True that the nice couple we were paired with kept us from flying of the handle.
We waited a bit and rarely had to wait for the 5 some ahead of us.
Had to change carts after the 1st nine and the starter wasn't too happy about that.
Not a people person. Usually I tip b/w $5 to $10
to a good starter he wasn't so lucky.
The place was clean and the ladies behind the bar very friendly.
WOULD NOT PLAY THERE AGAIN FOR FREE.
Good Value
Played early Sunday morning with my wife. Starter was very friendly and helpful. Young man in shop was also very friendly. I have to agree with earlier reviews as greens were excellent! One thing I would caution is they don't seem to have the break you would think! Some spotty tee's and some bad spots in fairways but not bad at all.
The rough is rather thick which makes the course more challenging. The greens are well bunkered and some are deep faced..
A good test of golf but fair. I am new to Orlando and my business has taken me to many places around the country but I thought this course was an excellent value and very challenging if your approach shots were not up to par.
