Wekiva Golf Club
About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

#16 from Tee Photo submitted by Steve8905914 on 10/20/2014
Beautiful weather, enjoyable round
Three of us played behind a foursome so there was some waiting, We were able to start a few minutes before our tee time. The greens were rolling and fast. The area around greens was often bare or sparse which made chipping difficult but course was in generally good shape.
Nice course, good value, score card problems
This is a nice course and a good value for the money. Fairly open with good landing areas but lots of sand to be found along the way. The greens had been recently sanded so they were not a fair test on the day that we played. However, they looked like they would be decent after the sand was gone. The only problem we had was determining distances to the pin. This was our first visit to the course and the yardages on the score card did not match those posted at the tee box. As well, the fairway markers were sometimes difficult to locate. No slopes or ratings were indicated on the score cards, making it complicated for a senior like me to decide which tees to play. A yardage book would have been very useful but they did not offer one. If the course updates these items it will make the course that much more enjoyable.
Too expensive for the money
It was and ok course, fairways were dry and instead of rough there was more like dirt. Greens were ok.
For 29 dollar I would go to Stoneybrook west :)
Overall nice place to play
A must play if you are in the area . Well maintained fairways and greens all the greens are cut the same so once you get the feel the putts drop in I will play here again before heading back north.
Course improving
Since the last time playing this course noticeable improvements have been made. The fairway turf had thickened, restrooms added on the back, and roped off areas near the greens has promoted better conditions for the short game. The long par fours here make this a difficult track for seniors and women. Expect to add five or six strokes to your normal score. The pro shop staff was nice, friendly, and helpful.
nice cond. golf course and not hidden trouble
course was in good cond. the staff was very friendly got out on time don't ask for anything more!!!!!
A great course! I'll definitely play again
The weather was perfect and I got a great deal on Golf Now. Of all the local public and semi-privates out there, this is the best one by far. The course is in great shape. The fairways are clean and green (and it's critical to keep it in the fairway) and the greens are full, green and test even the sturdiest of nerves. I played with a few guys who also take advantage of a weekly GN deal and we had a great time. The pace was fine and the course was moderately difficult. I played from the white tees (about 6,500 yards) and it was a little long for me but wasn't overwhelming. The greens were not hard, per se, but were tricky in some cases to read.
Great course
I was impressed. The course was challenging. I only remember about two water holes which weren't too bad. I hate water my balls always gravitate towards water. The pace was fast. Great course. Greens were fast.
Great Friendly Course and Personal
Enjoy the total experience. I drive from Daytona Beach to play with family here.
Well kept course
I've played the This corse a few times over the years, and I have to say it is the in best condition I've ever seen it. The greens are fast but not crazy, and in good condition. The bunkers a manicured beautifully. Sand comes into play on this corse around the greens so if you have trouble out of the bunker it might be a long day for you. There are also some tight holes that require an accurate drive. The signature hole is the par 3 #17 which is about 160 shot over the water, it's really the only water on the corse. I really like enjoy this corse.
Good course
This is a good course in Longwood with some scenic holes and not extremely difficult. Some tough shots, but nothing that will ruin your score.
Price is Right
Among the best values in the Longwood/Wekiva area. Course and facilities are a bit worn, but in very good shape. Very few bare spots in the fairways, greens and bunkers generally in good shape. Practice tees are adequate; chipping & bunker practice areas are quite good; practice green is good. Good, fair challenge. Not overly tight, but if you are wild off the tee, you may be unhappy. I would choose Wekiva over Rolling Hills, Casselberry, or Lake Orlando. At this point, it's a toss-up with Dubsdread. Both are good value.
Nice surprise
. I was paired with a younger gentleman that was playing from the tips. When I play a new course, unless it is short, I will typically move up a tee box or two so I can have a little fun. This course is over 6800 yards according to the score card so seeing that I planning on moving up, but since my playing partner was back I figured, why not. I am glad I stayed back, even though the course is amongst houses it was surprisingly wide. This gave me longer shots into the greens, which with my game made it that much more enjoyable. The rough was a little nasty, the fairways were for the most part "nice" but the greens were a little bumpy and slow and very difficult to read. Pretty much like most public courses. Even with that said I would return in a heart beat. If you are in the Orlando area give this track a run
Great course for the price
Greens and fairways are in very good condition. Course layout is great for all amateurs.
Fine
For the money pretty good and worth a round. Friendly staff made it enjoyable. Greens were very good.
Good value.
Tricky greens, lots of contour. Plenty of room off the tee. Nice practice areas.
Nice fast greens. Very corteous staff.
NICE! Can't wait to return. Very friendly staff and grounds crew. Also, good prices in the Pro Shop.
The course was in excellent shape
I loved the course and can't wait top to go back. They are adding a bathroom on the course that will serve the back and front nine. The greens and fairways are in excellent and fairways are wide.
