About
Nestled in the foothills of Riverside County, Indian Hills Golf Club incorporates a range of different elevation changes. The elevated tees provide great views of the surrounding hills while the tricky raised greens make up the bulk of the course's difficulty. Conveniently, the spacious layout doesn't have any parallel fairways. The undulating terrain guarantees that you'll come across a few uneven lies and there are also a few tough blind shots in store. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as do strategically placed bunkers but the focus remains on the dramatic drops and rises of the terrain. There is an especially daunting drop on the 16th hole. The challenging layout and scenic views have built Indian Hills' reputation as one of southern California's best public golf courses.

Indian Hills Turkey
Came out to IH for the first time in about a year. It has become the go-to inexpensive course for Riverside now that others have closed. Kinda busy for a Tuesday morning, but I expect many had the day off as well. Course was okay, nothing spectacular, some greens need help as they have bare spots, tees are rough in some spots as well. Fairways are patchy due to transition into winter grass. Young lady in the Pro Shop was very nice & greeted me right away. Also Morris the Indian Hills Cat was out extending his well wishes to all players today. Pace was a little slow on the back 9 holes due to some groups getting out of position. This is definitely a lower level course in the Riverside area, but if you’re looking to just get out & play this place will work for you.

Some greens getting punched, sparse fairway grass in places. Not bad for the price per round

Nice course with interesting design all levels of players will have a challenge.
California golf
The greens and fairways are under repair. Some greens recently punched and sanded so they are extremely slow. They will improve with time and mowing
Not the same as just a few months ago.
Course conditions have gone down quite a bit since a month or two ago. Greens had been punched and have not recovered yet. In addition a lot of the greens had pretty severe damage and it affected the play. One of my favorite courses but was very disappointed this time. Of course would go back and recommend but not now. Most Greens are unplayable.

Overall, I enjoyed the course. Loss balls due to leaves on the ground. I would play there again.
