Nestled in the foothills of Riverside County, Indian Hills Golf Club incorporates a range of different elevation changes. The elevated tees provide great views of the surrounding hills while the tricky raised greens make up the bulk of the course's difficulty. Conveniently, the spacious layout doesn't have any parallel fairways. The undulating terrain guarantees that you'll come across a few uneven lies and there are also a few tough blind shots in store. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as do strategically placed bunkers but the focus remains on the dramatic drops and rises of the terrain. There is an especially daunting drop on the 16th hole. The challenging layout and scenic views have built Indian Hills' reputation as one of southern California's best public golf courses.

Great price for a winter course

Great course for the price, course layout is straight with fun elevated holes. Tee boxes are green and fairways are green not dormant. The side of the fairways are a little long, but overall fun course would play again.

Why the bad reviews?

Golfed here and was worried about it since reading a lot of reviews that were not up to par so to speak.. came out with our foursome and the only complaining we did was about some bad shots.. some spots on the fairway are hard pan but truly nothing to complain about it was basically anywhere towards the edges of the fairway.. it was a great outing with friends and look very much forward to getting back out there soon!

I’m guessing the complaints come from pga pros lol

Great California golf day

The staff and course conditions were very good. Booked a 4some with 3 players that never played this course....all raved regarding pace of play and course condition.

Absolute joke!!

We had a tee time for 4 on Saturday afternoon. These morons booked way too many tee times we didn’t even get past the 2nd hole!! Avoid this course at all cost. No value for your money. Staff don’t desire to find solutions.

Respect the course.

This course is improving!!! It would be nice though if golfers would respect the course a bit more. Many areas they are trying to repair and have marked as “ground under repair.” Golfers are still hitting from that area. Almost all greens are in great shape, a few need some attention. Tee boxes are hit and miss. I predict by April this course will look amazing, if golfers give it the respect it deserves
