Indian Hills Golf Club
About
Nestled in the foothills of Riverside County, Indian Hills Golf Club incorporates a range of different elevation changes. The elevated tees provide great views of the surrounding hills while the tricky raised greens make up the bulk of the course's difficulty. Conveniently, the spacious layout doesn't have any parallel fairways. The undulating terrain guarantees that you'll come across a few uneven lies and there are also a few tough blind shots in store. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as do strategically placed bunkers but the focus remains on the dramatic drops and rises of the terrain. There is an especially daunting drop on the 16th hole. The challenging layout and scenic views have built Indian Hills' reputation as one of southern California's best public golf courses.

Hooked on it
Course conditions were nice and pace of play was reasonable. Staff, as always, professional.
Needs WATER
I really enjoyed this course.
I enjoyed the layout greens were in great shape, but everything else was needing water if you’re not in the fairway you’re playing off of dirt. $20 to walk nine was not a bad choice and I would play it again for that.
Quick play and good value
Staff lacked customer service expertise. Groupings were erratic.
Hasn’t been watered well. I haven’t play here for a year or 2- but course was in WAY better shape last time. Greens were in great shape though compared to several other places I’ve been playing at. Great place for the $.
Course condition deteriorated
Played Indian Hills many times before and course condition worsened when played on 10/6/20. A lot of brown out fairways and the greens are any better. Don't recommend playing in the near future.
Only course available!
Indian Hills looks like a really nice course if taken care of better! You can hit the middle of the fairway and not have a good lie. The turf is spotty at best. Tee boxes are bad. I wish that I had taken pictures.
The course just seems unkept and neglected! The people were nice enough. The cart paths were really horrible.
Just an OK
Paid $30 plus service fee through Golf Now. I'd say it's worth $30, nut nor more...
The course needs some TLC. Fairways and tee boxes need some care. Worse is the area not on the fairway. If your ball is not on the fairway, expect to be hitting off dirt, sand and whatever.....
Indian Hills
Hot day to play, but virtually had the course to ourselves. Fairways are dry and helps the short drivers. A couple of greens where patchy and under repair. Not significant though. For being a neighborhood track the course plays a bit open. Most holes favor a fade swing. Yay for most of us slicers,
Course is in rough shape
Terrible conditions. Most of the course is mud and dirty. Never played a course in worse condition. Greens were ok.
Terrible for the money
Spent 34 for barely any grass in fairways. Worse I have ever seen it. I guess the only water they put on it is in the bunkers and greens. Greens were good. Inconsistent but good. Bunkers were either hard as rocks or mud with water in bottom. I would say only 40 percent of fairways were grass. Spend less money and go to cresta verde. If you know what I am talking about then you know it was bad. Tee boxes were trash. It was disrespectful to me as a golfer to pay 34. My mistake and will not come back until spring when I know it will be green.
Going down hill
The ownership need to invest their over priced fees back into the course. Fairways are mostly dirt and mud. Approach a ear is the worst .
Only good thing is the greens are in dicent shape. Not going back anytime soon. Hate to see this course become another Paradise Knolls
1965, time for a face lift
1965 was quite some time ago. This course has such a good layout and could be one of the top tracks to play. Let's put a little money into the fairways, cart paths, tee boxes, and landscape.
