It was a perfect day for golfing, every slot of tee time was filled. Pace was a bit slow, but it was a good round of golf.

There was no cart when we checked in. A bunch of people were waiting for carts.
One hour to finish first two holes. No marshals on duty. Not recommended.

Spring Valley
Really enjoyable golf course.
Course is on a plateau up in the hills above San Jose with gorgeous views. Fairways and greens in very good shape with some challenging slopes. Pace of play is a little on the slow side but that seems to be the case on most courses these days.

SpringValley Feb 25
A delightful course in very nice condition with some deceptively interesting greens. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the views of the surrounding hills. Pace of play was a bit slow - four and a half hours - which averages out at 15 minutes per hole, but that seems to be a feature of golf these days particularly with foursomes.

Quit After 15!
Sunday afternoon and the weather was somewhat nice when I started, but progressively got colder and it was not fun when each hole is stacked up by two to three groups. The pace was extremely SLOW. After 4 hours on my feet, I had to call it a day as the last three holes was going to take another hour and 15 minutes (at least!). I will only play this course if I can get either the first or second tee time in the morning.

They pace teams every 7-8 minutes and this results in a backed up course. Not acceptable.
If it wasn’t for that, it is such a nice course…
