Spring Valley Golf Course

The course itself is well-designed and fun to play—great distance for residents of the Bay Area. The wide fairway gives great forgiveness. However, the management is a little sloppy. Reserved tee time is not enforced, so people can start early if they arrive early. The pace of play is not ideal since there is no course marshal. The group in front of me kept taking Mulligan and playing super slowly. The worst thing was that the group behind me had extremely poor golf etiquette. They teed off while my group was still on the fairway a couple of times. The closest two golf balls landed within 10 yards of where I was standing on the fairway. I would encourage the course management to teach some basic golf etiquette before people start playing to ensure a safe golf environment.

Staff was excellent . Handled a 1-1/2 frost delay very well.

Course design is well and overall layout is nice.

Every 15 minutes has two tee time. Therefore the pace is very slow. We have to wait every hole. It took more than 4 hours and 30 minutes to finish the game. Other than that it is an ok golf course.

Had a good time playing SVGC again. Unfortunately it got really slow on the back nine and didn’t get to play all 18 holes
