East at Jacaranda Golf Club

Always a great round at Jacaranda. They really take care of the course. Greens were great.

One of the best golf days I have experienced in a long time. Perfect weather, perfect course, outstanding customer service. First time playing here and it was extremely impressed with course , staff, Well worth the cost.

We had a 12:40 tee time. when we booked the round we were not informed by GolfNow that there was a shotgun start with 8 groups of ladies teeing off before us on holes 1-8. The starter was unable to get us off before them or squeeze us on to the back 9. As a result it took 5 and a half hours to complete the round. My playing partner had a dinner engagement at 6:00 and left on the 13th hole at 4:30. On the 12th hole a par 3 there were 3 groups on the tee. This was ridiculous. GolfNow should have informed of of this and we would not have played at Jacaranda that day. It was a waste of money and a very frustrating day for us. GolfNow should be refunding me for my green fees paid especially as a GolfNow plus member. This is very disappointing.

We were not told that there is a tournament!!! I would not have booked this tee time have I known!!

I had to stop playing after 5:30 hours at hole number 11. The pace of game was horrible and took all the fun out of the game. We deserve a rain check from the course or GolfNow.

All around solid experience at Jacaranda East. Conditions were great on tees, fairways and greens. A little moist in some spots of fairways and around green fronts but didn’t take away from the experience in any way. GPS in carts were true. Didn’t really need my laser. Refreshment carta were there when you needed them. Overall a solid experience. I will definitely return as I have many times over the years.

I’ve played this course a couple of times before. It’s 30 mins from north Miami Beach and offers the best all round experience in the vicinity. The layout keeps you interested and today the condition. was a superlative.

Excellent course, terrific condition , very well managed club. All aspects of Jacaranda are high quality, and well run. Very good condition on East course. I will return soon.

I played the East but both courses are always near perfect conditions. The East is longer than the West but both courses have equal challenges, near-perfect conditions, and a lot of fun.

Bring your driver.

This is long and harder than the West course, albeit still fun. The fairways are still soggy from the recent rains so you get no run off your drives or long irons. (frustrating to see a decent drive plug)

I finished the West course yesterday with a decent round and was able to hit most greens in regulation. Today was all about scrambling. You need to be long off the tee, otherwise you are probably a hybrid or 3/4 iron into the par 4s.

I managed to hit about half the greens in regulation today as I was taking a longer club into most holes. The greens on the East course are generally smaller and raised so you need elevation to hold the shot in. Greens were running about 12 again so consistent with the West course.

This is a good challenge and most Par 5s are birdie opportunities if you get off the tee. There is more water on this side however, I found playing off the no.1 tee (blacks) that water did not come into play too often.

Great course and a decent challenge. Achieved the same score as yesterday, but obviously sunk a few putts when it counted today, which is definitely what you need to be doing on the East course.

I had booked the East course but got ushered into the West to play with some locals.

This is a great challenge from the Black tees (no. 1 on the tee box)

The course was a little wet from recent rains so no run on the fairways. Tee shots (most with a driver) need to be out 230m + to allow the mid iron into some tough elevated greens. Greens running at around 12 and very true.

Wind springs up in the afternoon so most of the time you are needing an extra club into the greens.

A good challenge but manageable course if you don’t try and over hit.

Hitting greens in regulation here allows a reasonable score.

I’ll be back to try and beat the West. Par round today off 3 means I left a few putts out there.

Nice course. Be careful of the forecast if using GolfNow “hot deals”. Was unaware that once you start a round of golf in questionable weather you can not get a rain check. Started in a light rain and on #6 the skies opened up and strong thunder and lightning. Could not play anymore but because it was a hot deal we were unable to get a refund or a rain check

The course is a very good condition

I’m from the northeast and come to this area once or twice a year it seams. It’s a staple in our choices and one of the best around Fort Lauderdale. In my opinion. It’s usually in its best conditions during the winter months but the Course was in excellent condition for right after summertime.

Highly recommend and will play again and again.

Excellent course have played here many times over the years always well-maintained and challenging the Iguana increase in population is dramatic these interesting a relatively harmless creatures make for an interesting round
