About
The East Course is one of two four-star rated championship courses at Jacaranda Golf Club. Both golf courses have a tropical landscape covered with ponds, canals, colorful landscaping, and of course plenty of swaying palms. The East Course is the longer of the two courses. It has served as host for several PGA and USGA tournaments and qualifying events. The layout features tree-lined, undulating fairways and raised, sloped greens. It offers a challenge at almost every turn with 80 bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards on 15 holes. Some of the bunkers are built into the mounding complexes, giving them sod faces and high lips that are difficult to navigate. Those that manage them successfully though will be rewarded with excellent scoring opportunities. The popularity of the two golf courses has affirmed Jacaranda as one of the best places to play in southeast Florida.

Fun course
Nice course, but the greens were full of weed and some parts of the fairways were not that good, even tough they were repairing all the fairways. Overall experience was very good. All this on the EAST course
Good product and ggood price!
I have played this course before and for 40.00, it is not a bad deal. I would not pay more than that in the off season (summer).

Greens are not healing well
They punched the whole course the week of June 3rd. Was surprised it was in the shape it was. I frequent Jacaranda once a week but will stay away until Mid July. The east greens are Sandy in a lot of places and I expected a much better heal by now. Must be the rains?
West was just punched last week so avoid that one for awhile.

Great course and staff in the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea area. Played east and west tracks. Challenging and interesting.

Enjoyable golf
My wife and I played here in January 2017 and made it a point to play here again. We were not disappointed. 3:15 to play 18 holes. Pace was great. Course is challenging but fair. We will play again.

Long & Strong
Hit it long, or stay home. 5 sets of tees make this course playable for all handicaps, but which ever tees you choose to play; you still need to hit it well. Tee through green, this course is in awesome shape. Greens roll true, but you will be penalized for "flat" approach shots.

Great course conditions
I really enjoyed this course. The pace of play was great. The greens and fairways were in good condition and rolled true. Not too much water but enough to get your attention. Wish you could hit drivers or chip in the practice area. The staff was great.

Broward County favorite
Fairways were again in terrific shape, as were most greens. Greens were not holding but I'm sure the run of dry and very hot weather had everything to do with that. Played from the #2 tees, which was difficult enough for a mid to high handicapper like myself, next outing I will likely have to shift to the #3 tees to make it more fair. If you are a low handicapper, take it back to the tips, Looks like that would be a real challenge.

Great value
Fairways in great condition bad the lies are if the ball is teed up. Very good greens, somewhat difficult to read. Greens could be better if players repaired ball marks and the grass/grain spacing a little tighter for better tracking. But this may be nitpicking as playing for $40 (hot deal) was great value. Fairways alone would bring me back.

East Course was in good shape
The East was in good shape. Nice fairways and fast greens. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in good shape. Greens rolled well although we noticed some inconsistency in speeds. The bunkers needed a good deep raking. If you tried to splash out a shot you found a thick wet harder surface underneath.
Pace was good and staff was friendly and attentive.
Looking forward to trying out the West course.

VERY NICE COURSE
My God...the course is in beautiful shape. Tee boxes, fairways, sand, greens, etc.....all in beautiful shape. 1 tee box on the back 9 was meh.
Wish the price was a smidge lower, but the course is beautiful.
Way nicer layout and better condition than Plantation Preserve....which I find boring and somewhat redundant.
