Colina Park Golf Course
About
Colina Park Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-3 course that has a reputation for having some of the best conditions in the area. The course is an excellent spot for working on your short game. You can leave your driver at home because your wedge and putter will be doing most of the work. The layout is a seemingly short 1,250 yards but it's packed with challenges including more than 10 bunkers, two lakes, and even a few waterfalls. The par 3s range in length from 67 yards to 125. Some of the elevated tee shots can be intimidating and the undulations in the fast greens call for careful course management. Colina Park Golf Club is a course that will test you, no matter what your skill level, and to make it even more appealing, it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the San Diego area.

Beautiful Sunday morning. Photo submitted by RG58540D667BAEE94A9A on 06/14/2021
Nice & Cozy
This is a nice and cozy golf course. We completed 18 holes in 2 hours. No golf carts; walking course. Dangerous 17 hole (lost 2 balls) because of an artificial lake. Good price.
Best that I’ve seen on this course
Greens manicured maintenance doin a superior job on the course
Staff friendly
Go place to work on your short game
Great For The Families
This course is 5 Stars for young or old people trying to begin golfing, course is forgiving and challenging, a must play for golf loving families. Once greens heal from sanding the conditions will be much better, only down fall is tee boxes are mats.
Great course to practice your short game
Took my 11-year old grandson out for his first time on a golf course. Perfect setting for young beginners to golfers wanting to work on their short game and putting.
Short but fun
A lot of holes around 60 yards and some 80-100 yds. I rented a putter and pitching wedge and a 9 iron for $1 each (O was on vacation). Nice, tricky greens that were very well kept. Took around 1.5 hrs. To complete. Started 7:30am and was the first person that day. A very affordable way to hit some balls and putt. Will go there again. Very friendly and helpful lady behind the counter.
Best value in San Diego
18 holes for $5! Great staff and friendly golfers on the course.
Visiting from Scotland!
Played this charming, very well maintained, 18 hole pitch and putt course on a Saturday afternoon. Very friendly atmosphere throughout. Rookies, serious young beginners, parents with children and accomplished golfers practising their short game, and all having fun. A very enjoyable experience. Oops! Forgot to also mention the frisbee golfers - Amazing!
Want to sharpen your dhort game?
Expect this: 1) a mile walked, 2) a thousand yards played, 3) and to carry a putter and one or two wedges with a few balls in your pocket. It is a well-maintained course as pretty as the pictures. Rubber grass mats of decent quality cover the tee boxes. (This no doubt keeps costs down.) Greens are always fine and roll true. Expect to see some youngsters due to their association with Pro Kids and First Tee. You may find them fun to watch!
Great short course!
What a great short course!
Perfect place for kids to learn the basics, and great for anyone else who wants to work on their short game and see who hits the most greens in regulation. The greens were in superb condition, right amount of water on the course which is brought into play on a couple of holes. I really like how the place is a non profit with all the proceeds going towards the 1st Tee of San Diego and golf development. Had a great time with my mates, will definitely be back to play the next time I'm down in San Diego.
Great little course
Fun short game course. If you only have a few hours to get a round in, this is perfect. Really only need 3 clubs to play including putter. Would be a real fun course for some money games.
Shapen your short game!
This is the finest executive course in SOCAL if not he entire southwest USA. The green are superb, The entire course is in outstanding condition, superbly maitained. Not a flat lie on the course. will sharpen you short game with shot between 63 to 126 yards. If you are lucky enough you will find a First Tee Player that will help you navigate the course. Local college practice here during the season to improve their short game. Strongerly encourse you to try this course. can play 18 holes in 1 1/2 hours easily. Much better than fighting the traffic!
Great short game practice
This was an awesome find. Tucked into a beautiful, hilly park with abundant trees. Longest hole is 109 and the shortest about 60. But the greens are small and fast so requires accurate shots. Great place to practice the all important short game and super for kids to get some on course experience. I'd play it again and again. One little downside is the tee boxes are on mats but no big deal to me.
Worth the price.
Love the slopes fun to play.
Colina
Very convenient, local, fine tuned, my wedges, overall a good day
Great for short game
Played course with son to shore up the short game. Nice little course where just need a putter and wedge or two; distances are true and greens well-maintained. Tee boxes are synthetic. Greens are slick but manageable. Very nice practice course.
Great course to work on your short game.
Course was in really good shape, greens a little fast and challenging... loved that! Great course to work on 100 yards and shorter. Had a blast working on different shots to the green. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course is not difficult, but enjoyable.
Best deal in San Diego
I love this course, great place to work in wedges cause a few holes are short. Overall great experience.
