Colina Park Golf Course
About
Colina Park Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-3 course that has a reputation for having some of the best conditions in the area. The course is an excellent spot for working on your short game. You can leave your driver at home because your wedge and putter will be doing most of the work. The layout is a seemingly short 1,250 yards but it's packed with challenges including more than 10 bunkers, two lakes, and even a few waterfalls. The par 3s range in length from 67 yards to 125. Some of the elevated tee shots can be intimidating and the undulations in the fast greens call for careful course management. Colina Park Golf Club is a course that will test you, no matter what your skill level, and to make it even more appealing, it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the San Diego area.

Beautiful Sunday morning. Photo submitted by RG58540D667BAEE94A9A on 06/14/2021
Bring putter, two wedges, and one ball...
Well, maybe add an ugly ball for the pond shot. (My wife lost one there.) Nice greens. Great course for muscling up on high-loft wedges and dialing in your distance. We enjoyed playing there and will return.
very short
some of the tee and greens were a little confusing
but a good little course to hone your short game
It almost looked like a championship course for condition
First time for my wife and I, would do it again anytime we wanted to practice our short game. People were very friendly, course was very well taken care of. Greens were very fast.
Great short game practice
This course is good for practicing 50-110 yard shots, chipping and putting. I definitely recommend it for anyone needing some work on that part of their game.
Great Little Par 3
Excellent condition. Most par 3 courses the greens are chewed up. These greens were perfect! I took my time and practiced many different types of shots and putting for different spots. I recommend this place for everyone. If I had kids I would be taking my kids to here and learning golf. As an adult I was practicing my short game and having fun doing it.
First Tee is a great organization!
Best Chip & Putt...by far!
Played on a Wednesday morning. No crowds. Course was near perfectly groomed. Most greens were just watered and balls were sticking like glue! Greens true and quick, even with the water. Whole course being kept in tip top condition. And the Gold Now price blows away to competition.
This course in good condition
I learned golf at this course and it help me a lot... and I never foget that golf course.....
Short but fun course
This course is in good shape an the staff is very friendly. This is a great place to take kids and or work on short pitch shots.
Great course!
If you know what to expect and are okay with everything like mats for tee boxes and short holes and having lots of kids around since it's focused on teaching them then you'll love the course. Great deals in the pro shop too. The chipping practice area was not well kept and is very small I wouldn't bother doing that again. I would only go to the course to play 18 holes or if you have an instructor to help you at the caged in driving range or hitting cages. Can't get much out of those areas by yourself. The driving range is 50 yards long
Colina Park Golf Course
Colina Park Golf Course is great for the short game. Excellent course for the youth and beginners.
Short Game course
I have been playing golf for two years, so I would consider myself a high handicap player. This course was perfect for me because my short game needs work. Colina is perfect for those wanting to work on their short game. The greens were well maintained and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely play this course again. Perfect for beginners and those who want to work on their short game.
Great Pitch n Putt
I only played the front nine due to the fact the back was closed for a kid's clinic. I prefer to play 18 different holes so I bailed after the front. Course is in great shape and the greens are excellent. The staff is very friendly. I recommend calling the course before booking to ensure all 18 holes are open. Golf Now has some obscene hot deals for 4 bucks during the week!
Short game delight
Great value for the money. Not too busy during the week but can get busy with families and novices on the weekend.
Hidden Gem
Well maintained course. Green fairways and nicely maintained greens. Never crowded. Very short, short course, about 60+ to 100 yards per hole. Great prices. Absolutely the BEST deal in San Diego, if you want to practice your short game. Only downside is that you tee off mats, but that is not really a problem. Great place for the beginner or someone more experienced who wants to work on chipping and putting.
They also run a First Class golfing and life skills program for kids named The First Tee/Pro Kids, which I highly recommend for any kid. Relative to the cost of golf lessons, this program is very, very inexpensive.
Good course for beginners
I played with my 9 year old son and was quickly down by 2 after he birdied the 1st and I made 4 from the back of the green. Today the greens were slow, having been recently punched and not mowed for a while. The course is fun, lots of hills and you can play it with a gap wedge and a putter. All the tee boxes are synthetic grass mats which helps keep the course divot free. We got behind a family of 4 that was sharing clubs out of a single bag and marking every putt. We skipped hole 5 and got around them and played the rest of the course in about an hour.
Great course for beginners.
If your beginning or need practice on your short game, this place is excellent! Beautiful greens all around..
Good short distance golf course
Great course for your irons! It only took me a little over two hours to complete 18 holes as a single player with a steady pace. Great environment for kids and adults.
Sandwedge and putter
Great place for kids to learn the game. Most holes are about 75 yards. The course was in very good condition. Water and sand play a part in the challenge.
very nice course...had hole in one @ hole 7. shot 48
well maintained course, very nice greens, good practice area for short games.
Great Course for any level.
This a very well maintained course and must play for any San Diego golfer. The greens will fool you.
