You can get on here for a fairly inexpensive price, but expect what you pay for. Greens in good condition, but fairways and rough are in worst condition I've seen in years. White tee box on the 5th tee has been under repair for over a year. Looks like they aren't spending money for maintain the place. Not what I'd expect from Troon Management. Shame as a year ago in was in very good shape. Hopefully they have a plan to get the course back into good condition. Don't be surprised if your playing off dead grass or dirt lies.

weather was on the bad side, witch kept allot of people away. had a great time with my friends. no body in front, nobody behind. greens on the fast side, but still held a shot.

Frost impacted course which made poor lies in fairways, rough and around greens. Sloping fairways made shot placement important. Course conditions increased roll resulting in shots rolling off fairways and into poor lies. Track is fun. Would like to replay in better conditions.

I played in this course three or four times for last 6 months but always saw many bare grounds in the faiways and even in the greens. The most terrible thing in this course is their bunkers which are just bare ground itself.
You will always be forced to share electric carts with others unless you pay additional 12.00 bucks.

The course is in great shape, I had a enjoyable time.

We always play this course whenever we are in town visiting friends. We have fun and for the price it's really a good deal. The greens could use some maintenance but overall it's a challenging course. Sloped fairways and the greens are hard to read which make the course a challenge. I recommend this course and I will continue to play it when I'm in town.

Greens are fine but the sand and fairways are pretty shot. When I hit the ball in the fairway I feel I should've awarded with green grass not what they have. That's why I feel it should be a few bucks cheaper. I would play here more often If it was. You can play so many more well kept courses for the same price.

Toght course with super fast greens. Super hilly with very inconsistent grass from tee to green. Bunkers are nice. Course needs help. Will peob not play again.

Play was slow. Greens were pretty good.
Fairways need some work.

I understand that it is under new ownership. I would expect that in the spring things will be different. Did have a nice putting and chipping greens. Something that you usually don't find on a public course.

Wouldn't pay over $30.00.

Pace of play was good and course conditions were better than fair. Beautiful course off the freeway, easy to find and get to. Club house and pro shop staff were very friendly and courteous, even when our group was running late. Best part was able to play a good 18 holes of golf at a discount rate of $26. Awesome value!!

Booked a single tee time for this course and mistakenly ignored the other reviews. I was paired with 3 other singles that day, which was fine. They were all very nice people and was told I had to Share a cart or pay an extra $12 dollars for my own which I did (because I smoke while I play and I don't like to bother others). Except the other person never showed and I ended up paying an extra 12 dollars for a cart I would have had to myself either way. I asked but No refund. Customer service was very poor. greens were bumpy and in need of maintenance. Sorry this course was just not worth it.

we had a foursome, moved along at a pretty good pace course had challenging bunkers with trees lining every fairway.

The course overall did not give a warm inviting feeling as you walk onto the property. We were not informed that the course was currently being aireated. The course layout is extremely tight in some sections of the course. The course is in some sections has extreme uneven lies and extremely long rough.. For the above par golfer this makes the course more challenging. Speed of play was inconsistant as the starter would allow singles and pairs go off behind our foursome which we would have to politely let them play through. I was very disappointed with my experience at this course and will not return to play another round.

The course is average with lots of bare spots and yellow grass. WARNING! When you book with golfnow as a single they try to cut costs by telling you that you are sharing a cart with someone. The only other course to try this trick is San Luis Rey. Demand your own cart! The offer says 18 holes & cart. It does not say SHARED CART or 1/2 CART with a total stranger with a 40 handicap, bad breath and a busy cell phone. The GM at this course agreed to give me my own cart and was a very nice guy, but the GM at San Luis Rey charged me an extra fee or he was going to cancel my Golfnow tee time.

I like the easy access of the course because is very close to the freeway exit. There are couple of holes are harder as it look.The course is short but is pretty hard. There are up hills and down hills fairway.

It's an easy short course with too many 310-320 yard par-4's. Since the course was purchased by the current owners, they raised the prices, but haven't added much value to the course: there is really no driving range, only a driving cage, but it's in horrible condition!! The mats haven't been replaced there since the 70's!!. Practice balls are probably at least 15 years old!! The practice bunker is hard as a rock, chipping practice area is OK, but the grass around it is absolutely horrible. 100 yard practice green is in decent shape, but they never have any balls there. So, pretty much every time you play here, you are playing cold.

Greens were in decent shape when I played, fairways are so-so, tee-boxes in bad shape though: some of them are not even leveled, grass is just your regular street grass, so it grows in bad patches and poorly maintained.

Troon is managing this course now, from all Troon courses that I ever played, this is the worst. But for $30 on Golfnow, this is about right, at this price I look at it as a "Bucket of driving range balls with a cart" for four hours. Overall, it feels like the golf course is an afterthought of the DoubleTree hotel, and nobody really cares if it's here or not.

This course was in decent shape.the greens were relatively fast. Once you got off the fairway rough was inconsistent.

wet spots all over the course and no rough were it shoulg be to stop your ball from rolling off the fairway.
