Great course
1. All the staff were very helpful and polite.
2. Course conditions were in very good condition.
3. Rough was challenging in places. Best to play on the "short grass."
4. Several holes were very challenging due to the fact that the houses were situated tight to the course.
Step back in time
This north Course is the former Canyons CC course. If you like the history of golf and celebrities in the valley, you will enjoy the clubhouse and all its photos. The course is an old time design, was in good shape, and enjoyable to play at 6,600 yds.
A good value too from the golf tee time web pages.
Great Fun on the Rat Pack'c course
nice course, well maintained. Lots of cool post modern 1950's and 1960's homes surrounding the course. You'll enjoy it.
Great time
Great challenge tees, fairways, greens very good. Great bargain through Golf Now. Nice change for a very pricey area
An older course but worth a visit
The north course is the older of the two and does show its age in some areas. The clubhouse is a bit rundown as are the facilities on course. This also means that the green fees are generally less than the south course. The staff are great. The starter was one of the best I have encountered at getting everyone organized and away. The course itself is excellent in almost all respects. The decision to drain most of the water hazards was not necessarily a bad one, but the resulting waste areas do require some care and attention.
Great deal! Classic course
Greens Tees fairways and rough in great shape!
Lots and lots of traps!
Would do it again! As a hot deal!!!
Great Desert Value
Indian Canyons N. in Palm Springs, is a classic style course, and great value this time of the year. The greens are smooth and consistant; running 9-10 on the stemp; course in very good condition.
Great GolfNow value.
Indian Canyon North provided a very enjoyable golf experience. Winter overseed made fairways a little slow. Greens were in excellent condition. Bunkers have little or no sand which is all that keeps course from exceeding 4 stars.
This course has many problems.
Arrived at practice range and was shorted balls by more than 50%. Took more than 15 minutes for staff to show up and fix the problem. Then, with no time to warm up, we were called to the tee 30 minutes before our scheduled tee time. Only explanation was they were trying to move things along. Bathroom on tenth tee a mess and soap dispenser was empty. Poor, beat-up cart paths and inadequate signage. Greens were generally good, but fairways needed mowing. The place had the look of a has-been course that was operated as a "cash-cow" . Also, didn't appreciate being harassed by course marshal when we were on a four hour pace.
Would not play again and would strongly recommend to others the same.
long course
The course for the most part is flat with bunkers well placed to swallaw your drive or errant approach. As seniors, my wife and I were challenged by the length and lack of a tee bow for women below 6,000 yds. This is too long for most senior women.
Loved the length
The course was in good shape, found the fairways very nice, some of the ponds were dry, which was good, the sand traps were mostly very hard, could not get a sand wedge to explode out, used a 60 wedge to chip out. The greens were really nice, ran true, didn't bump all over the place, some of the players had not repaired there divitts, the restaurant in the club house was not open, did not find a driving rang to warm up.
All four of us said we would come back
Great old school Golf
From the moment I got to bag drop to when I drove off I was treated like a member instead of some single off the street . Course in excellent condition (Not a lot of roll) some very memorable holes and greens in great shape . For the price it was a bargain . Would absolutely come back here .
Good Honest Course
This course is quite scenic and was nice to play. Rained all day previous so it played a little long for my handicap my wife liked it and we will play here again.
Very tired old course
We've played Indian Canyons South course a couple of time and loved it, so we thought we would try the North course.
The club house at the North course is old and dumpy,
The cart paths were broken and worn out.
There is no water in the "ponds".
The course has no interesting or unique holes.
I would call it a mediocre city course.
Absolutely Beautiful
They did a great job in seeding this year. This course was fantastic. The fairways were a little long, so we had no run on our drives, but for how beautiful this course is, I will take it. The greens were challenging, that is usually my best part of my game, but these greens had me baffled all day. And they were quick. I want to play again soon.
