Don't find yourself in here, on a par 3 on the back 9! Photo submitted by stratsville on 04/13/2013
Beautiful day
Tee boxes really need some work. The rest of course was ok. The couple I played with had played here before and said pace of play was better than what they were use to.
O.K.
Thought the course in general was OK but the tee's were rather worn out and bare. Greens Ok but thought a little expensive for what it was.
Needs Work
The course shows its wear and misuse. The greens are in average condition while the fairways and rough are thin. The pace was a little slow as some players were as usual using tee boxes that were over their heads.
Mediocre
At least you can always get out. As long as you stay in the Fairways it’s decent but just a lot more TLC and it would be a great course again
Friendly Staff!!
We were greeted with smiles by everyone we encountered upon arrival. Water driving range was unique! Course has a lot of water on it but the fairways are wide enough that it really is not a factor. Course needs some work!! Tee boxes were pretty rough!! Fairways were just OK and 1st cut of rough was a bit deep. Bunkers and washout areas could really use some work. Greens were in excellent condition and putted smooth and true!! Plenty of staff on hand to deal with your needs. Concession cart came by multiple times during the round. Pace of play was decent Pretty good value for this course and we will probably play it again in the future.
Good round!
Conditions were wet, and sometimes stormy, but the course was the fairways and greens were in good condition.
Some blemishes, but solid track
Water range, fairly large putting practice area, but didn't have a good practice chipping area (it was pure rough). In terms of course, Oaks was in pretty good condition. There were some brown spots both in the fairway and also on the greens. Although those brown spots were a bit of an eye sore, it didn't really impact play.
There really aren't that many options when it comes to public golf courses in East Broward, but this is a solid option - particularly at the price.
Great time
Really enjoyed playing this course, look forward to playing here again
July - Oaks at Palm Aire
Pace was slower than usual but to be expected on a holiday. Course was dry again to be expected this time of year. Layout isn't overly challenging - water hazards are mainly L/R of fairways.
Good value for the money
Another Great Day at PalmAire
Course was in great shape even after the rains, pace was really quick and the staff was super friendly as always. A favorite choice of many options here
Good Value
Nice staff. Starter very accommodating. Played many times. Challenging. Not overly difficult. Fun!
Great round, great value
Late April the Oaks course was in very good shape and the round played right at the 4 hour mark. Enough water to keep it interesting but not painful. Quick greens were fair but not overly fast. We enjoyed the the round, hadn't been at Palm Aire in 10 years. Will definitely play again.
