Don't find yourself in here, on a par 3 on the back 9! Photo submitted by stratsville on 04/13/2013
Great round, great value
Late April the Oaks course was in very good shape and the round played right at the 4 hour mark. Enough water to keep it interesting but not painful. Quick greens were fair but not overly fast. We enjoyed the the round, hadn't been at Palm Aire in 10 years. Will definitely play again.
Nice course
Great time. The starter put us on the back because there was only two of us. Great move. We cruised thru the course and made the turn and went to number 1 after stopping for beer. The beer cart was out but because we started on the back we didn’t see her until after 9 holes. The fairways were some of the better we’ve played The greens were a little bumpy but rolled pretty well. Not real fast. The sand traps were good but had a few rocks. Definitely will be back
Nice shape
Course in nice shape compared to some others ive played lately.
Greens fast and excellent. Highly recommend.
Great time till 18 th hole
Course was in good shape except for 18 fairway- it's next to the driving range and there was over 60 range balls within 75 yd of green- I felt I was at a paint ball tourney with balls flying over my head-
My wife and I had a great round as we have been pared with a elderly local couple. We enjoyed every minute playing in together. The course itself, however, would desperately need some care. Teeboxes are in a bad shape, fairways are so lala. Pace of play was mediocre due to a slow foursome ahead and the complete absence of any marshall to enforce a somewhat quicker play. Value for the money was still ok which is for a great part due to our pairing.
Palm Aire Country Club (Oaks)
Course was one of the best condition this year for Greens, Tee's and Fairways.
pace of play perfect - playing early does have it's benefits.
A nice course in nice shape for the season played it a couple of times was one of the better ones we found
Underwatered possibly
I like this course but the problem is when you land in the fairway The ground is hard so your club bounces I'm really not an expert but I think the course is just dry and not enough grass Also a lot of crabgrass creeping in all over the place
4 hour round on a busy Friday
Played in 4 hours. Seemed slow as we waited on many holes but it was 4 hours to the minute. Greens were in great shape and putted true and pretty quick. Overall Course conditions were very good. Only issue was a sprinklers on one hole soaking the fairway and making the par 5 partially unplayable.
Fun layout
The golf course was in good condition and the greens were very good. Nice mix of holes and plenty of length in the wind.
Thanks for the positive review! If you have any specific feedback from your round, don't hesitate to let us know. Hope to see you back, soon.
Teeing off from the rough
The greens are in pretty good shape, but the tees are awful and fairways just okay...not that hard to cut tees guys!
Thank you coming out to play your feedback. Our Superintendent has been made aware of the issue on some of our tee boxes. Rest assured improvements are on the way. And thank you for complimenting our greens! Our crews work very hard to ensure they are rolling smooth and true. Look forward to seeing you join us for your next golf round.
Great value
The Oaks is always in good condition. The greens were very fast the day we played and very true.
Only played 9 and completed in about 2 hours.

Fun but slow
A fun layout. Elevated greens mean you must get the ball all the way to the green. Played at 1:45 and paired with a friendly couple. Course was busy, but the pace of play was slooow. One twosome ahead of our group quit after 5 holes. Waited on every tee box and shot. Foursome in front had no idea of “ready golf”.

A pleasant round although the course was ragged. Could use a set of tees between the white and the gold in distance.
Accessible and the people there are very pleasant. Fine for an everyday sort of round.
