Two 18-hole courses rest on the 900-acre retreat that is all about golf -- not condos or summer homes. Panther Lakes is the flashier of the two designs at Orange County National, most say, because no two holes are the same. The playing surfaces are lush and the topography is so varied in some areas, some have a hard time believing they're in Florida. The architect made good use of the rolling meadows, grasslands, wetlands and lakes. Visually rich elements saturate the 7,295-yard design.

Great time

First time playing this course. I was traveling from Louisiana so I didn’t have my clubs. Was immediately impressed that they gave me some top of the line rentals. Course is in superb shape. The greens are lightning fast but once you hit a few you get used to the speed. Pace of play suddenly slowed down at the turn but that’s okay because this course is top of the line!

Not worth the price charged.

The course was just ok. Greens were in good condition.. Rolling true and decent speed. The condition of the fairways was not what I was expecting. They were quite spotty and in rough condition. Had to move the ball onto grass numerous times. I was playing with a threesome that said there is definitely better courses in the area for less money, specifically the Disney courses. I left the course feeling a little disappointed but still had a good time.

Course was empty Tuesday pm so pace of play was GREAT. Had a cart girl on a Tuesday. The practice facilities are OFF the chain!!!! Course handles lien ferry tour finals so you know it’s good and tough. They have lots of tee selections for women men kids so all levels can play the correct tees! Corse was not Prestine condition but very good. They have two great courses but summer one can be closed for maintenance. I play there a lot and hardly ever disappointed with conditions!!!

Great course don't know why we hadn't played here before.

On arrival staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Then proceed to golf shop and received a wormer welcome. Played the panther course. Great layout. Play the orange and green mix. Greens in great good condition fairways also in good condition. Can't really find a fault it.

Didn't stop for food and drink had to shot off. But will definitely play again.

Loved this course. Lots of good holes and a good challenge. Only negative was wishing there was a marshall on the course, as the group in front of us slowed us up more than needed. Overall, we had a lot of fun, and enjoyed the guys we were grouped with.

This course is such a great and challenging time. Has some good elevation and contours to the fairways and is very well maintained. This day I found a new test with about 5 minutes of icing between shots starting at hole one with a five card or so backup that lasted the whole round. Not typical pace but did give more time to enjoy the course.
