Golf Club At Terra Lago - North Course

About
The Golf Club at Terra Lago boasts two 18-hole courses, the North and the South, that provide some of the most stunning and unique views of the Coachella Valley. Formerly known as Landmark Golf Club, it was home to the PGA Tour Skins Game from 1999 to 2002, which meant it has hosted a slew of big-name players including Greg Norman, Tiger Woods, and Phil Mickelson. Terra Lago's North Course is the longer of the two at 7,060 yards, which is partly a reflection of the dramatic elevation changes that the golf course tumbles across. From the seventh tee box's lofty perch, you'll get a panoramic view from one end of the valley to the other, making it the golf course's most scenic hole. But it's most challenging is a daunting par 3 with an island green that was the featured hole during the Skins Games.

Best green conditions
One of my favourite courses to play with three really fun turns. The mini mountain in the middle of the course overlooking the city. The water turn in front of the clubhouse. In the last three finishing holes.
I will play the course every time I’m here and the greens were better here than anywhere else I played.
Enjoyable course at a reasonable price
The course just had some green and fairway maintenance or I would have given it a higher rating. Greens were very slow due to mowing higher with the hot weather, and fairways and rough had lots of aeration slices. Played longer than yardage on the card. Has lots of bunkers and elevation changes to keep things interesting. Will definitely play here again if I make a return visit to the Palm Springs area.
good price fun course
it was great.. we had a beginner w us n it was perfect for him. no houses to hit on the north course and very fun. great staff!!!
Beware of early starts
More times than not, if you have an early tee time you are looking to finish early and beat the summer heat. Usually that would be all good except, they allow 4 and 5 domes to go off of hole 10, much too late. We were a 6:30 tee time and caught up to a 5 some on hole 11, not good course management, obvious money grab. Beware. The course was in great shape and fun to play.
Amenities
Stop for a drink after the round just to find out it was closed.
terra lago north
always fun playing the north course. great staff n friendly great lay out. all together a good value n fun time w friends
Good course in good condition except greens on front 9
First time playing the North Course; played the South Course a couple of times in the prior month. Course was in very good condition except for the greens, especially the front nine, had some sort of disease? Back nine greens were better, but still the course was very playable. Fairways and tee boxes all good. Front 9 is a bit tougher than back 9; 0verall a good course and worth playing if green fee is < $50.
North Course
Fun course with a nice variety of. holes.
Day we played the greens were very poor,
otherwise rest of course pretty nice considering summer heat and some dry spots.
Narrow
Not a fan of target golf. Course was well maintained.
Always a good play
Course is in descent condition. Greens are in recovery from some kind of die off, but holes are cut on healthy sections so no big deal. Not too busy right now so pretty fast round, played through a 4 some at tenth.
Horrible greens
We played the North course. Pretty rough. It has been 20 years since I last played here. It used to be very nice. The greens had some kind of disease and were very rough. Pretty disappointing overall.
Greens are recovering, sanded, and slow
I love Terra Lago. Great facilities, great staff, good courses. I was surprised to find that the South has great greens while the North is comparable to punched greens given the north costs more. If you don’t care about putting it’s fine but my recommendation if you do is to stick with the South until the North’s greens recover.
