Golf Club At Terra Lago - South Course

Love the layout. Would’ve nice to had some encore amenities/drinks/food. Piece of plate very nice. Thank you.

This is such a great course to play, and it's a great deal as well. However the customer service has always been subpar. From dropping your clubs off to checking in to return in the cart at the end of the round The staff is disinterested, lackadaisical, and does not interact with the pain customer whatsoever.

Probably the worst golf experience in the Desert this year. Course was in horrible condition. There were no hole descriptions to guide you. The bunkers were either hard as rock or grown in with grass. Staff was nowhere to be found. No visible maintenance. Could be a great track but someone is going to have invest in the course and its eco system.

Course was not well maintained, ugly layout with strictly back and forth golf with no good views

Course is ok. Temperatures were near 100 degrees and there were no cups available for water and ice to stay hydrated. Ice machine at snack bar was broken. Unacceptable for a golf course in the middle of the desert.

Very hot 37 degrees. Very dry and dusty, poor to non existent cart path directions around the greens, lots of driving between holes, no shade on this links style course.

The greens and fairways are in pretty decent shape.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great day playing golf

Golfed both south & north courses & each were in great shape & challenging. All staff members were friendly & welcoming. Well maybe I should add that the gentleman checking us in wasn’t so welcoming on both occasions. Maybe he has some health or stress issues.

Water features and plenty of slopes add to the challenges at Terra Lago South. For this time of year, March '25, the greens were slow, so one needed to be more aggressive on the pace. Fairways were a little thin in places but generally provided good lies. Bunkers look very scraggly and have inconsistent sand. We tee'd off at 1:30 behind a full field so it was a 5 hour round. Fortunately, the weather was perfect and we enjoyed our round.

Pace of play really needs to be monitored on the turn to speed groups up.

We arrived about 25 minutes before our 11:20 tee time. No one could be found for us to check in. After inquiring at the bar we were told that the person responsible had stepped away, probably to the restroom. After nearly a 15 minute wait, he finally showed up, so we now had 10 minutes to our tee time. Another person was also waiting and it turns out that we were paired with them for golf. We waited a bit on first hole and then noticed a log jam on #2 tee. We finally teed off on second hole a full half hour after our 11:20 tee time. We discovered that there was some “official” junior amateur tournament immediately ahead of us (Toyota Tour Cup). We were not informed/warned. Our round took more than 5 hours to play, and Terra Lago is not a long course. Wouldn’t do it again. Probably should have left before we teed off on 2, but a ranger said that the pace would pick up after that hole.
