Plan on a 5+ hr round
Still enjoy playing at Anaheim Hills even with funky course layout but the convenience of its location is key for me. Thought after so much rain the tee boxes and fairways would be in better shape but still very hard and bare in many spots. One thing I did notice is they did not have a Ranger or “course ambassador” on the course to try and speed up slow play! Think that might help in keeping flow of course action….Why? I’ll come back again but look for earlier Tee time. Teed off at 12:30 played 18th hole in dark!

Pretty Course - Terrible Shape
I live in Chicago and was visiting the area for the Holidays. I was excited to play this course due to its raiting and "fair" price for the area. The course, when you arrive, looks amazing and very pretty. However, I was very disapointed with the quality and conditions of the course. The fairways may be some of the worst I have ever seen - there is basically no grass. It is terrible. I couldn't tell what was worse -the rough or the fairway. Greens were pretty good. Tee boxes were bad.
What's weird about this course is the layout of holes, the holes themselves are super pretty and huge hills, unjulations, challenging, etc. The course felt that it was once a Private, Semi-Private beautiful CC and may have been sold and gone public, which it was not maintained well.

need more staff.
This golf course needs marshal staff cuz Super slow play pase here. I'd like to say that new golf cart with nav and course design is 5 stars but, need repair cart path, fairway, teeing ground, high voltage electric line...overall was just okay !!
