Needs TLC But Fun
The course needs TLC but fun to play. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Not work the $
Play here if you don't mind over paying for a course that hasn't been watered or mowed in forever and you don't mind playing behind several 6 -somes. It looks like it may have been a fun course at one time. Some of the greens were so bad we had to treat areas as ground under repair. Not worth what they are charging.

Easily the worst course I have ever played in my 49 years of golfing. Staff friendly and apologetic but stay away as you will waste your $56.

This course was in such bad shape, i thought i was in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.

Condition
If you’re in the area, go to another course! This course was the worst golf course I’ve played ever. Unfortunately, there is nothing good about this course I can say.

Complete trash
Course not kept up. Nobody works on the course, cuts the grass, etc. only the lady at the register is there along with the course starter who drives around following u drunk. Only good note is the course is wide open. Nobody plays there and I can see why. I’d pay 10 bucks max to play here. 65 was complete ripping us off.

Horrible course
Grass sucks, looks like they found a random mountain of dirt on the side of the freeway and like to charge people 45$ To play on it. Worst course I’ve been to

Worst conditioned course I have any played
DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE! With the exception of the greens (which were in fair condition) the nearly dead fairways were covered with gopher and prairie dog holes. All the facilities were either closed or in very poor conditions. From my understanding, the club had lost its liquor license and consequently has let the course go to ruins.Unfortunately, there is nothing advising a golfer of this. Obviously if I had, been aware, I would not have played it.
I had played this course a couple of years ago and it was very enjoyable. Not anymore!

poorest maintained course in San Diego
I've lived nearby for over 20 years and this course was very nice at one time. Since the current owner has taken over the course has steadily deteriorated. There is little or no course maintenance taking place. Bunkers have no sand and lots of vegetation growing in them. The fairways are not being watered sufficiently. Hole #12 has had a temporary green for at least 3 months. Greens haven't been punched in years. Gophers and ground squirrels have absolutely torn the course up. Employees keep quitting because they sometimes don't get their paychecks. If it was possible to give it a zero star rating I would. And to top it off the owner just RAISED the green fees. This place is a joke and I'd be willing to bet it's the worst maintained course in San Diego. The only positive thing is the pace of play is normally great since there is nobody playing.

Course has deteriorated into a dog track
We haven't played here in a long time and were incredibly disappointed in the conditions, the course has been allowed to return to nature and shows no attempt at maintenance. No mowing, coyotes wandering around, huge animal holes in the traps, etc, etc. just in really bad shape! Greens are the only thing seeing any attention and were not so bad. forget about the rest.

Good Fallback Course
If you waited until Friday night to book your Sat/Sun round, here's a golf course... I enjoy it here, but the fairways and bunkers are in such poor shape, it'll hurt your eyes. Greens were actually ok relative to the rest of the rest of each hole. Greens are easy to read and paced slow enough to give a run at each pin. Defense of the course is the fairways in bad shape and enough trees lining most holes to put you in total jail for an offline drive.

Ghetto, absolutely ghetto
This has to be the saddest excuse of a course I've played. It was like spending an afternoon in the great depression. I feel this place would be better suited as a wildlife preserve for ground squirrels than golf and its most of the way there already. Save your self some time and tee off in the national forest the greens they're are better kept. The old dude passing out the carts was awesome tho.
