It’s like 10 years ago they just stopped trying and what’s left is a budget experience, terrible staff, and just aweful course conditions. With a little care and attention and money this could be a rad course again. Until then, goat hill is a WAY better option!

Fun older course. Considering it's still winter, the course is in decent condition. Tee boxes need some attention. Some definitely need leveling. Sand traps are garbage. Still a fun course at a reasonable price.

We will never go back there again. Very poor reception and the course in very bad shape. We would never recommend this course to anyone.

Me and three buddies had the day off and decided to try something new. First off the pro shop ( if you would call it that) was absolutely terrible. No clubs, no apparel, minimal selection of balls, the only thing they had plenty of was alcohol. From the moment you walk into the place it just doesn't feel right. The course was in absolute terrible condition, it felt like no one cares about this course and I'm not sure if they even HAVE a maintenance crew. The greens have holes in them, no one fixes their ball marks, the tee boxes had close to no grass. In the end, please don't waste your time or money playing this course, even for the 13 dollar deal they may be offering. Just pick somewhere else. This course needs someone who cares about it, and it definitely shows no one that works there cares. I wish the owner would sell it, it could be a great course if only someone cared at all about it.

Tee boxes seem to be either bare or very uneven. Bunkers are not sandy and some are more like dirt. Greens are spotty with bare patches. Several pin positions were questionable.

The first time here had a major discount as they had just aerated the greens and there was mold on the greens, this is virtually gone now. We had played here a couple times within the last year, the course is in very good condition now.

The course isn’t in great shape but it’s the best hotdeal around of you can get it for the $13 it’s worth it every day

Older affordable course play there all the time definitely recommend to give it a try

Well I used to play here but the course was getting in really bad shape no grass,greens had dirt patches, was trying to find something cheap and decided to give it a try, no really exited because of all the bad reviews . Well the fairways have grass the greens need help but a lot better than a year ago. Got a hot deal on Golfnow and you just can’t beat the price. It’s coming along great really exited to see the course come back to life . It was a great cheap practice round and better than the driving range and almost for the same price of a large bucket of balls.

My younger son was getting into golf so I looked for a reasonable place to play and found Castle Creek. The advertising pictures on golf now looked amazing BUT upon arrival and playing, the course was in horrible shape, tall grass in fairway, and greens no bueno. I went because the price was pretty good and it looked plush on GolfNow. Those are some really old pictures they are using and should put updated pictures unless they want to continue to trick people in thinking it’s that green there! Very disappointed.

the layout of this course is at least a 9....not long, but long enough...play smart and make your putts and you will score....if you try to overplay....you will find trouble...

the only problem with this course is that it is out of the way and does not get enough play to maintain a

manicured course....

As a senior on a fixed income, I appreciate the exercise, the discounts, and the chance to hone my skills so I don’t embarrass myself in front of my sons.

Course conditions were horrible. Greens and Tee boxes need major repairs. Fairways are ok but way too many gopher holes everywhere

I really enjoy the course and find it to be challenging.

I've played this course 3 or 4 times, and I have no problem admitting that part of the allure is the low prices. You can sometimes snag hot deals for $10, and even regular pricing is lower than comparable local courses. Usually the only courses this cheap are executive courses, but this is a full length course with mainly par 4's and a few long par 5's.

The course is pretty dried out in certain areas, but I can say that in the past few months I have seen the staff making efforts to improve it. There are some greens on this course with large (1 ft+) dry/uneven spots that can get in your head on putts. The sand traps are hard right now due to the rain, but even in the dry season they aren't super soft. The scenery is nice and most of the time the weather is great.

Overall I recommend this course, especially if you're like me and are new to the game. It's great to be able to play a full round for less and this course has helped me get out and golf more often.

i dont like reading all the negative reviews i have been seenng.......please! this course is tough and the price is right. yeah yeah yeah , it isrough right now, but it is on its way back to greatness again. i still say , " if you can play here....you can shoot good anywhere. challenged is what makes golf bring me back and back again. i love castle creek

Greens are mostly nice, fairways are dirt or dead grass. Ball will roll all the way off into hazards even when you hit the middle of the fairway sometimes. It’s sad because the course has a great layout but the conditions are awful. Looks like the owner has given up on maintenance of this place aside from the greens.
