Played alone today, but totally enjoyed it....

Hit lots of solid shots, scored better than my age....

And played in less than 3 hours....

Gotta love it...

The tee boxes need cleaning up and a few greens are in rough shape but the fairways are in great condition. Will definetly be coming back...

Our first time playing this course. Diabolical layout. The course makes you think about every shot, and when you're in trouble you're deep in trouble. Several holes where you can't see the landing area from the tee. The course in general needs maintenance and some TLC. Inconsistent greens. Much of the rough is high enough to hide your ball. Bumpy, unmown tee boxes. The young man in the pro shop did not seem happy to be there, not very welcoming. Still, it's worth the green fee for anyone who doesn't expect a pristine golf course.

This course is not well kept. Needs a lot of work!

Course was unusally dry and hard since we had all that rain.

Though improved (rains maybe) greens need attention. Saw little course work. Traps abominable, like concrete. Afternoon times easy to get. I recommend carting.

It’s been couple of years since I played this course . It use to be nice and well kept . But it’s in full decline now and seems like it will sooon be sold . The fairways were not mowed and greens were horrible . Worse course I ever played in southern calif . Even though the price I paid was $10 I would not recommend it at even that price .

Some of the greens get good sunshine most of the day they could be in better shape. The course is worth a play.

First time playing this course and was not impressed. First of all the guy at check-in seemed annoyed we were checking in and gave little enthusiasm when we asked basic questions. Course conditions were pretty bad considering all the rain we've had recently. Greens were rock hard and had LOTS of bare/diseased spots.

Love the layout of this course, but fairways were overgrown and greens were rock hard and patchy, despite the wet winter.

I have been playing this course 2-3 times per year for the last 5 years. Unfortunately it is in worse condition each subsequent time. OK to practice your game on a poor course. $15 is about right for this course.

Course was very green from all the rain. The rough was starting to over grow. Fairways in the process of being cut. Very fast pace all singles and doubles. Kinda cold and windy at times. Over all it was a good round.

Have played here several times in the past year, and I have to report that the greens have never improved their condition. It seems like they have some sort of disease. Blotchy and bumpy, and it affects all the greens. The fairways are not the greatest, but acceptable. I always play here on a hot deal in combination with a discount coupon, so for the ridiculously low price that I end up paying I can’t really complain that much. Just come out and enjoy the fresh air and the golf, and don’t expect too much from the course conditions.

I played this course in few years. Now full staffs are changed and they were extremely unfriendly including pro-shop staff and starter. There are not that many players on the course since it's weekday. Fairway condition was extremely bad and staffs are very unkind. Overall my rating for this course is 1 out of 5 and I do not recommend to my friends at all.

When you choose to play Castle Creek you are choosing to play the cheapest course around because it's not in great shape. I thought that after all the rain in might be in better shape but it was basically a dump. I paid 16 bucks and frankly overpaid. I quit after 9 holes because when I reached the 10th tee there were 3 groups on the tee. The only thing worse than playing this course is to wait to hit every shot on this course so I called it a day. You get what you pay for, but in this case I didn't even get that. I think for 15 bucks more I could have gone somewhere else and enjoyed a round of golf. I won't make that mistake again

Pace was great until the back 9. followed 3 4 foursomes. Cost was great for Golfnow Hot deal.

Staff very friendly. Starter let me tee off early due to only a single and a few douples were getting ready to go. Had a good rouind. Course starting to look verygreen, The green's need a little work, but coming back to nice conditions. Thank you.

Well the price was great , the people were friendly. The course was in bad shape. I’m sure they are doing there best to repair greens and keep fairways good. The pace of play was great so if you go just enjoy your day with friends. Take in the nature around you. Have a beer or two and it’s all good..
