California Oaks Golf Course

Course is ok. Its real short. It has potential and you can see it, but it is poorly manicured in the areas where you would usually be. Rough is thick like it never got mowed in months. Most of the greens are in good shape. Maybe one or two were bad but it really depends on the pin placements but I could see how some people get angry.

If the course was cared for it would be great. But its not.

Staff is rude thats for sure. No martial on course to keep pace of play. Kind of upsetting.

I know it just rained last week so my review could be weather induced. BUT, even last time I played here (a year ago ) the greens were so tarnished, beat up and ugly and even the fairways were in pretty bad shape. On top of that they don’t have an open food area on weekdays and no cart person...so that sucks. I wouldn’t pay $40/person for no service and bad course.

Greens are in really bad shape, and the tee boxes are too. Right fairways are alright. It makes you think about what about to take.

I enjoy playing this course; course condition can be improved; very nice people managing the course

I booked a round for 18 holes (walking) and when I checked in the guy at check in charged me full rate. He said they don’t offer walking rate on weekends ever, that the golf now app made a mistake and they couldn’t honor the price given.

Ouch.The greens are dead. The course needs a makeover and some attention.

Worst course I’ve ever played… half the greens are dried out brown cracked earth

I wouldn’t play this course again if it was FREE!!!!

First impression was good, as the girl in the pro shop was very cordial. Everything wen down hill from there!!

The fairways had numerous areas of bare spots/dirt, and even some of the greens had patches

That is nothing compared to the rough!!! As soon as you are off the fairway, the average height of the grass is 6 inches!! Seriously?

I’m a 15 handicap golfer, and I probably just missed 3 fairways.on the front 9. Guess how many balls I lost? You’ve got it, I lost every single one that was not in the fairway ! I was so disturbed, I just left…

I have been golfing for over 60 years (I’m 75), and this is the worst experience I have ever had…

SUGGESTION: AVOID THIS COURSE

Course was in terrible condition. Most greens looked decade and full of ant hills. Vickie the cart girl was the only positive thing there. Would not go back.

Poorly managed, not taken care of, fast play since no one else was there. Tear up the whole thing and start again. I could have just left the title to speak for itself.
