California Oaks Golf Course

If you are looking to golf and can't find something in a fair price range golf here. Course is older and need of some Love. In her day i bet she was a real nice short course.

Challenging layout have to use a lot of creative shots to just stay out of the trees it is a short course so birdies are possible just have to keep it straight.

Was very impressed with staff and professional service fairways well maintained and greens were very professional maintained would play there again.

My wife, and I recently moved to

Murrieta, and want to try all the local courses. This one was a fail, and too bad too. The layout is good, but it hasn’t been kept up well at all.

The course needs a huge amount of work, and a better hydration plan. It was brown from being burned, but sopping wet at the same time.

A ball hitting the green simply plugged 2/3 of the way into the ground. No release, difficult to judge the speed of putts because of the amount of water, and hadn’t been rolled either so they were lumpy.

All in all I was displeased with the quality of the course, and probably won’t return. However, the price was pretty low, and a novice golfer probably wouldn’t notice some of the issues.

Course was nice and green, bit challenging with all the blind spots.

I’ve been golfing for 35 years now, and this course is without a doubt the worse course I’ve ever played. They should have paid me to play it. The layout is horrible. The tee boxes are an absolute disgrace and the greens are so over watered that my ball plugged on every approach shot onto the green. Live and learn I guess..

Lots of of fun especially for the locals friendly staff and pretty relaxing time the courses can be a bit narrow sometimes makes it a bit challenging playing from pro tee but a lot of fun

great day for a round of golf. early morning, to beat the heat. narrow. beautiful. a little muddy in some areas, but overall a great round. friendly staff.

Coming from the Palm Springs area this is a great change of pace as far as the weather is concerned. We loved the layout and the woodsy atmosphere and the overall friendliness of the staff was excellent. The greens were beautiful but soaking wet. It felt like walking on a wet sponge. My socks were soaking wet. We would love to play this course again but I will bring a different pair of cleats.

In addition to course being poorly kept, they charge an additional $3 Moore to the $35 you agreed on Golf Now.

I will never play there again, not only because of the money, but it just doesn’t feel right.

The staff member/starter/check in guy was terrific and friendly. The course could use some work thought. But overall we all have a wonderful experience.
