General Old Golf Course

For the price the Old General is great course to play,

The only thing that was concerning about the day was they have no starter @ the first hole and it backed up really fast we were about 25 min behind our start time, thinking wow this is going to be a long day, the bad thing is hole 1 is a par five and hole 2 is par 3 but after those 2 holes play picked up and it turned out to be a good day with friends, only wish they had a cart person out there gets hot @ the coarse need some refreshments.

Was my first time using GolfNow.com and I don't like the system. Took it out of my computer. There is a service charge and the course only has one T time for this program. If not for a kind employee I would have had to play with three others not of my liking.
Rather pay full price and have my choice

I had a good time playing at generals course as usual. Course isn't to challenging. Greens and the tees are more maintained then most other courses.

I really enjoyed the layout of this course. The fairways were great to hit off of and the rough a good challenge. I also like the consistency of the greens from hole to hole. The sand is well maintained for this course too. very friendly and helpful staff.

The course is average not much elevation change but the fairways are well-kept and the greens are very nice. I think it's good value for the money. My tee time was 12:37 PM, and there weren't very many people on the course so the play was pretty fast.

The fairways are not bad, greens are great! Great place for a beginner to learn how to play since it's pretty cheap..

Greens are firm and fast with some tricky breaks. A two putt is not guaranteed. A great challenge on windy days.

the course was wide open.it took me 2 hrs. & 45 minutes to finish 18 holes.

The course is not in very good condition, which makes play more difficult.

Enjoyed the location of the course some nice views and wide fairways.

The greens were fantastic. They were spongy and true and soft. This course always challenges me.

We were three deep on every tee box all 18 the whole day. It was the worst day I've spent on a course in years. You can have it I won't waist my time or money again.

Older guy at front desk was great.
But there was a ~27-35 year old employee who was inconsiderate and condescending to younger golfers.

Greens are not great, but as expected from a public course. Greens are very slow, footprints and divots prevalent. Raised lip around entire circumference of the edge on some holes making it difficult to sink a putt without additional speed. Numerous putts should have gone in, but would either curve or roll back from the lip. Take better care setting the holes. Thanks.

GOOD FOR THE MONEY ON EVENING ROUNDS, BOMBER FRIENDLY, FRIENDLY STAFF, GRASS CAN USE SOME HELP ON THE ROUGH

Staff member excellent they what to do enjoy to come there golf course conditions it is coming along very well the greens are the best ever seen worth the money to play here it was a very hot day but enjoyable just get under the trees to take a break and hear the sound of the birds and you will have a good time as I did.

The greens are bad and the driving range are the worst I've every played on.

Course is always in good shape despite current drought conditions. I haven't played much this year due to health issues so it's nice to be able to miss a few fairways and not loose your ball. $25 to ride is a great deal so i'll definitely be back soon.

The course is in great condition and not crowded. Greens were great!

Greens were spongy and bumpy. Hard to hit a strait putt.
