General Old Golf Course

Greens were spongy and bumpy. Hard to hit a strait putt.

Golf course is great for senior citizens and for intermediate player its just perfect for family bonding during weekend. looking forward to play this
course again.

Course has nice par 5 and 4 holes with challenging par 3 as well

the course is a very nice design. The greens were great. Fairways patchy in some areas. Overall a great value and a very good challenge. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

My first time at this course. Playing this course was enjoyable. The greens were fun to play, and their conditions were great. The fairways were good for a municipal course. The hazards were mainly hard dirt and rocks. 2 F-16's from March AFB flew over during the round and that was exciting to see. Overall, General Old is a very good value for the money.

Course was in ok shape.. The greens where in good shape.. Lunch ladies where as sweet as can be.. Good place to work on your game.. You are able to play a lot different shots, and the par 5s are true par 5s..

Course is good condition.Greens were smooth and not fast. Course was not crowded.
It was very enjoyable ambience.
Club house is clean and food was good.

We were treated very nicely upon arriving and the course was in good shape. The greens were excellent. We ate in the snack shop and the food was excellent along with the service and good value for your money.

Course was in good condition for this time of year and our lack of rain. Greens were excellent. Not crowded at all in the afternoon. Facilities were clean and well-maintained.

I play at the Old course every time I get the chance.

No complaints. We have had a couple carts die on us, but no real harm done.

PERFECT GREENS

Greens were probably 2-3 weeks past aeration and still bumpy and slow. Center of fairways pretty good, fairway sides very patchy.

If we were the only ones out there I would say the course is with it. But when it takes 5 hours on a saturday afternoon, that really takes away from the enjoyment of the game.

General Old is close to home and I've played there several times. It is the best course for the money in the IE in my opinion. The course is in decent shape. The greens were slow due to recent punching. They should be perfect in about two weeks. If you haven't played here, you're missing out.

Price could be a little cheaper. But overall it's a nice local coarse

Course conditions are great...!! The greens are the best I've seen in a long time... Great place to play. If the conditions stay the way they are I will certainly be playing there more often... The only thing they could work on is the friendliness of the staff...

THIS COARSE NEEDS MARSHALS! IT TOOK OUR GROUP OF 4, 21/2 HOURS TO HIT THE FIRST SIX HOLES. TEE OF TIME WAS 10:00. SPENT 48 DOLLARS AND LEFT AFTER FIRST SIX HOLES.

Our four ball paid for 18 but we couldn't wait to even finish nine. You'll find better conditions in a farmers cow pasture than General Old GC. Don't waste your time or money playing here. In the hundreds of golf courses I've played I cannot recall ever playing a course as poorly conditioned as this one.

great old course. par threes play long. greens in very nice condition, go see for yourself you won't be disappointed.

The condition of the greens is outstanding, but that doesn't mean they aren't challenging. There are very subtle breaks that can fool even the best of putters. Overall, this course is a great golfing experience and a great value.

Great relaxed lay-out with great greens. The course for the most part is a flat lay out with wide tree lined fairways. For the price, especially hot deals is a bargain. For the most part the course is in a fair condition as long as you stay in the fairways. However there is truly no rough accept around the greens. But if you hit wide of the fairways you will get penalized with a dirt lie. The traps are in fair condition. Overall it's a fun course, a classic lay out and there is a great practice facility. The staff is nice and quite flexible. The carts need some improvement, always seem dirty and could use some washing. The food/ bar is a real plus so come hungry and the price is right too.
