Mission Trails Golf Course

Great staff, very friendly. The first hole sits next to the driving range. The range netting is short so there are tons of tangle balls covering the base of the first hole Most of the tee boxes don’t have any remaining grass. Cart path in a lot of the course is in bad shape. Just a sad course that needs some TLC. Again no reflection on the staff p they were super nice and friendly.

The greens were in perfect shape, the fairways were above average with nice views, good pace, great staff

Yesterday, I rounded at Mission Trail Golf Course, and the fairway grass was good and it was a little difficult because of the very fast green. It's a very difficult place, so I want to try it again

Good course and was fun to be able to play an easy course and shoot my personal best (80). Greens were a little slow but still in good condition. Only thing was that it took me awhile to find the tunnel connecting holes 10 and 11. Still had a great time and was able to finish in 3.75 hours while walking as a single.

Conditions were much better but pace of play was approx 5 hrs.

How they jack their prices on the weekends is a show of greed, givin the condition of the course, carts, cart path. You can tell there is motivation to improve this course. You have employees hitting range balls onto the 10 green leaving huge divots that they don’t fix. The pace of place here is horrible, almost 6 hours for 18 holes. If you want to enjoy a round of golf I suggest Carlton Oaks, little more pricey but a lot better golf experience, this course should be 20$ including a cart.

Maintenance crews were cutting trees and they didn’t even bother to stop for us while we were hitting or putting. Some holes have been closed for carts since 1990’s but no improvements are obvious.

Happy that the course was in “good” condition. Very Lush for this time of year. Greens were not fast, but they rolled “true”. Lots of different types of holes. A few par 4’s that you can Bomb driver and possibly come close to or even on the green. Super good value in the San Diego Atea.

MT always gets a yearly visit from me. I play all over the county from Fallbrook, Torrey Pines, Chula Vista.. For the Friday morning that I played , again 4/5 stars. Yes there are bare spots in the fairways and the rough can be frustrating but the greens were in good shape and rolling consistent. The value is Par for the course teetering at birdie level. MT is challenging enough to be fun and you can't beat the scenic Lake Murray on the back 9. The missing star.. food and beverage cart never made an appearance. It was July, lots of wet muddy collection areas on cart paths and around the greens. I'm still going to come back and visit this old friend.

you should include riding price instead of walking price as this course is built on the side of a hill and is hard to walk

many recent reviews really ding this course and I expected far worse than it was
