9th Hole Mission Photo submitted by canyonman59 on 12/06/2012
One of the best courses are played in San Diego
Friendly staff, beautiful fairways and smooth greens. What else can you ask for
Slow as molasses
I booked a tee-time last week. Unfortunately no one bothered to contact me before or at check-in that they booked a scramble right in front of us. It took 3 hrs to play 9 holes and the last group was a 5-some. UGH! No communication. It's a lost skill for too many golf courses lately.
meh
the greens were SO bumpy and one fast another slow... matching the pace of play- agree with the pros - slow golf s_____
Price not equal to course conditions
I teed off at 0550, so pace of play was great.
Course was in need of adequate maintenance. Specifically the fairways. Shaggy , bald , and dead spots.
Greens were well kept. Speedy and smooth. Easy to read.
On the turn it was noticeable how backed up the course was. Too many tee times not enough time. For the price one of the cheapest and reasonably convenient location but does not translate to course value.
I would only play again if one of the first 5 tee times.
Good deal but slow play
I have not played this course for like four years. Got a great deal at Teeoff on a Friday. The pace of play was very slow because there were 30 in a group ahead of us. It took us five hours to finish. It’s better than some of municipal course in SD, but I won’t pay full price on this as the course was not as pristine as it used to be. I would play again if I get a good deal.
Beaty in the city
Wonderful scenery, beautiful holes and great looking greens
Usually good pace of play
Pace of play was going okay til we got to the 8th hole
And by the 10th hole we had 2 groups waiting and a group walking yo the green.
Sunshine, birds chirping and waterfalls!!
Our day started off great with a Jason in the pro shop going above and beyond to take care of our group, to the jovial starter and more than attentive beverage cart—— we had a fabulous day playing a course in great conditions considering all the rain we have lately—-
With greens that are lush and pure, and a staff that welcomes you——we’ll be back to slap it around soon!!
Thanks Guys—— Dan
Nice central location.
Course condition will improve as weather improves.
Good lay out. Fairways look wide but are easily missed which makes greens more diffulcult to hit.
Nice track in good location to reach from all ateas of San Diego.
Under construction, sort of
Friendly staff. Played on a rainy day, nobody else really out so it was pretty open. Tee boxes are nice, course conditions are good. Just a few holes where they’re doing some “storm drain” construction. That was the only flaw of the round, other than the weather on this day I played. So if you decide to play, I wouldn’t pay regular rates until the construction is finished, luckily I snagged a hot deal that made it worth it.
Great round
There was some maintenance & construction happening, but in general, the course was in really good shape. But the best part was that on my first day of retirement, I shot par (72)!!!!
