Wet and poor conditions
There has been a considerable amount of rain in San Diego over the past month, so I expected it to be wet. But mud patches, no grass and overall poor conditions are unacceptable.
Course was closed
Booked through GN. Was not sure weather it was closed due to flooding but assumed that I would be informed up front if it was closed. I went there and it was closed due to flooding.
Sent a mail to Riverwalk and asked for a refund. Got a very friendly mail back that I was qualified for a refund but I should reach out to GN. After studying the GN app/website I realized that the cancellation/refund function was gone after my tee time hour.
This review shouldn’t actually be the media for this remark, but I cannot find any other ways to get in contact with GN. Hope somebody now will reach out to me.
First time
It was a great day in the course. Some holes were a little confusing. I hope they can revise the map a little better. Some things were under construction but we had a great time.
Construction on Course
About 4 holes were affected by major construction work going on. I was not told there would be construction. I would have not booked for the price listed if I was aware.
Construction RiverWalk GC
The course is under construction and four holes move up. In addition surprise had to pay additional for the cart.
Quirky Under Repair but Fun
Always enjoy this track and course is in decent shape. Just some weird maintenance going on with the tea boxes and some water lines. Just be prepared but still have a good time. Some of the back teaser moved up.
Disappointed
Played this course about 10 years ago was in phenomenal shape back then, nice fairways and greens back when i played. So disappointed this time around , fairways we’re beat up greens we’re beat up I will not be playing here again nor would I recommend it to anyone so sad to see the way the course conditions went.
Huge disappointment
This course for years was one of the nicest courses in San Diego. I don’t know what happened but it has turned into one of the worst if not the worst courses in San Diego! The staff is awful and there still charging full price to hit from the ladies tees and rarely hit off grass in the fairways, also the only bunkers they take care of are the ones you can see from the street! Very sad what’s happened to this once beautiful place to play.
